It's beautiful and gray doesn't normally catch my attention. Very nice, soothing. What is the white thing to the left of the toilet? I really like your flooring choice!

monicakm -- the white thing to the left of the toilet is the shower base. The walls are tiled, but we went with the Kohler Memoirs shower base (our shower had leaked before and we weren't using it...my husband insisted on the shower base and it looks nice so far). The shower doors should be installed later this week, and I will post a picture of that corner then!

Love your new bath! Great choices on the countertop and flooring. Did you add a frame to your existing mirror, or is that a totally new mirror?

Grammy -- It's a new mirror (slightly smaller), but the same type. The contractor built a frame around it for me and I painted it to match the cabinets and the molding.

Here are a couple more pictures...including a picture of the shower area as it is without the doors installed. It's not huge, but it's about the same as it was before the remodel, which is fine with us. The walls are tiled up to the crown molding and there is a niche built into the shower wall for shampoo, etc...

The walls look more blue during the day and a bit more blue/gray in the eve. The tiles and cabinets look closer to the same color white in real life!

I love your floor tiles. What make/colour are they?

The floor tiles are from Crossville -- Empire series. I chose Generals Gray (unpolished) in 7x7. We used Delorean Gray grout. I was looking for an easy care tile that didn't look dirty the minute I brushed my hair in the morning!

Is the cabinet behind/above the toilet from the old bath and painted or is it new? I'm looking for something just like that.

crazyhouse6 -- Thanks! The cabinet over the toilet is the old one. I just looked for a picture and couldn't find what it used to look like. I added molding to the top, removed the brackets and towel bar (dowel) that used to be on the bottom, painted it and replaced the hardware. It looks a lot different. We hung it a little lower since it didn't have the towel bar anymore and its even more useful now that we can reach everything!

The painted vanity looks great. How did you prep the wood and what paint did you use?

I took the upper cabinet down and removed all the doors/drawers prior to prepping them. I cleaned everything (to remove hairspray, etc) AND sanded everything lightly. Then I primed everything with Primelock (an alkyd primer/sealer) and put on two coats of Benjamin Moore Impervo (100% Acrylic paint). I highly recommend buying the little plastic pyramid thingies for raising your cabinet doors off the floor (or whereever) for easy painting. Those really helped. Let me know if you have any more questions... my cabinets are solid wood, not laminate, so this is what all my searching online/questions at the paint store led me to do.

I just love what you've done to your bathroom. So pretty and fresh. Gives me a whole other idea of what I might like to do in mine eventually. Love your tile accents and your vanity reno.

Love love love the floor -- I am going to do the same except with 14x14 for budgetary reasons. Does anybody know if Mapei warm gray grout will look similar to the Delorean gray in the photo? I'm going to use that on the white subway tub/shower walls and apron and if I can keep things easier for the tile guy, I'm sure he'll appreciate it.

Thank you for posting your bathroom photos! What subway tiles did you use for the walls (maker and color)? Are they very-very white or more creamy white? Strange question :-): do they match the whiteness of your Kolher toilet. I also have a Kohler toilet that I am keeping, so need to match the color of the tiles to it; right now the toilet it looks cleaner than my old creamy white tiles.

yuliadc -- the subway tiles and chair rail are American Olean brand, Ice White color. I would say they are the same color as the Kohler Memoirs toilet. I took some pictures I will post later (along with the finished shower), but, in bright sunlight, I am not seeing a difference. I kept our bathtub and that is slightly creamier in color, but it doesn't really bother me. Hope that helps!

I am finally posting a picture of the finished shower (sorry it looks a little blurry, but its hard with the hammered glass to make the whole picture clear...for me anyhow!)

Also, here is a close-up of the toilet next to the tile for yuliadc -- they look like a very close match!

Beautiful transformation. I love your color scheme. I have never heard of the little plastic pyramid things you are referring to. Having just painted 26 cabinet doors for my daughter's mobile home, I probably could have really used them. Instead, we used everything but the kitchen sink as sawhorses and scrap plywood atop them. Then, we used my collection of magazines to lift them up a bit, but there was some stickage, not much, but whatever you are referring to probably would have come in very handy. Please provide details.

Beautiful transformation! What is the dimension of your granite counter top? What size of the sink did you use and the brand? Is your granite 2cm or 3 cm?

I have a long counter with double sinks, I am trying to decide what the right size of the sink is.

Sara_in_Philly -- the granite is 3cm. Wish I could help you with more sink info, but that decision was one I didn't have to make...my counter fabricator simply supplied them. They are about 18 inches wide and very deep. I forgot to measure the counter length, but it is about 6 feet long if I remember correctly from ordering. The shelf at the back of the tub is about 3 feet long. Hope that helps!
