AM-Deadlink program

I have more "Favorites" than what I want to admit and there are many, many duplicates. I found a program called Am-Deadlinks that is supposed to find all deadlinks and duplicates and then you have the option of what to do with them. The program lists all your favorites etc on a page and from there you are supposed to be able to do some sort of action. Problem is I thought you could just choose say "delete" and it would delete from that page, but don't think that's how it works. They don't make the instructions that clear.

This sounds like a very good program and probably is, but I'll be darned if I understand how to delete without going through each and every entry. I'm wondering if anyone out there knows this program or maybe has another program that will do this procedure. I just cannot go through each and every Favorite I have (over 1,000) and guess I'm looking for a program that will find all the duplicate and broken links, mark them and then I could just click a button to delete them all. Not sure if this is possible.

I'm running OE6,IE, WinXP Pro

Thank you for your help and suggestions.
