They locked the door!

I went to click on a site and suddenly it told me I needed to sign in or join.

Well...I have changed my server, a week ago Friday it was done....

But I have been posting ever since....and I have changed my server before and GW didn't forget me....

so I had to resign in....and of course I couldn't have a user mane of "linda C" because that was already taken....BY ME!!

So anyhow it seems I am now Linda see

Whatever...

Linda C....really!

You know, that happened to me once. They wouldn't let me long in with Vacuumfreak... so I made up a new screen name (probably Aleroluver or something similar)... I almost made a post similar to yours telling everyone I was still me. At the last minute, I tried Vacuumfreak again and it worked fine. Strange!

I'm glad you're still with us, and that the funny antics and pearls of wisdom can continue! And, I bet your old screen name will work again soon... you might try it in a day or so just for fun.

Just use your LindaC and original password. I have to re-sign in every time I run CCleaner or any of those other programs that remove spyware, etc.

Anyway, it is still good to "see" you!

Its never been an issue, but I also think it's good manners to teach your kids to knock on a closed door before entering a personal space anyway. Yeah, kids don't have to be very old to learn this lesson, so I'm not really concerned about interior locks to enforce politeness. I have privacy locks on all the doors. I lock the doors if we are having a big party, or like lolauren if I want to restrict worker's access. I never close off rooms if we have a party, and I have never had workers in the house when I wasn't home -- though I do hide my purse under the bed when I have someone working in the house. I had to go look, clearly I'm not a locker. Yeah, me too. I was surprised that I have lived in this house 16 years and never even thought about whether we had interior locks or not. It just didn't occur to me. Just FYI - about those guns in a locked closet: If you're ever burgled, they will be gone. Invest in a safe and bolt it to the floor. Eh, we actually own two safes; one for guns, one for other items. They'll be inside the locked closet.

Mark, there are lots of reasons to have a lock on a bedroom door. Two come to mind...to keep little kids out in those intimate moments, and to keep nosy people out who want to snoop and possibly steal things.

I tried....and it didn't "see" me...
Think I'll delete my cookies and see what happens.

When using CCleaner, you can tell it what cookies to keep.

Options-->cookies-->gardenweb.com then you won't have to sign in all the time. I go months w/o having to sign in.

Linda, You had better get it fixed! It will be hard to "see" you as Lindasee after years of LindaC. Although that is clever.

Totally amazing!...When I was "that other person" the whole page looked different....and I was getting a million pop ups and big ads at the top of the page and down the side...
