The water that is pumped out by a sump pump, except in fooding conditions has most likely been filtered by the soil surrounding the structure. Slow collection is going to be the most filtered but it s/could be tested since the soil itself could be contaminated by pesticides, herbicides or naturally occuring polultants. There are usually test facilities listed in the yellow pages but if you can't locate it there try local well drilling companies or the DNR for a testing company. They will tell you how to get the sample. Rain gardens are coming into their own. For those who don't know what they are, they are swales or dips in the landscape often planted with native plants that are designed to slow and redirect runoff to avoid loss of the rainwater or to prevent erosion. Our Master Gardener gardens will likely have one next year for demonstration. I had hoped to be in that group but it looks like I will be assigned to design a Living Wall. One caviat I remember from that forum is that fresh roof runoff is not good for certain bog plants but please do not expect any advice from me on this subject. The anesthesia I was given for back surgery seems to have eliminated a few areas of interest and I need to start that research again. I live in zone 6 and have a poncirus trifolate that I planted three years ago as a 1 year old seedling. The first winter it benefited from a neighboring perennial that leaned over and covered it throughout the winter, but has had no further protection since. Last year its trunk was buried in snow about 14 inches deep for weeks on end. It currently stands about 7 feet high and is in a southern exposure between an asphalt driveway and a white house. I neglected to plant my flying dragon seedling last summer, and by the time I remembered, it was too close to fall to expect a good result. I do fully intend to do so this spring. They can definitely thrive in a zone 6 climate. One year of protection, along with a well thought out location, is all that is necessary. The fruit, in my opinion, cannot get past your nose, so who would even consider placing them in their mouth? They are beautiful trees, however, and many a neighbor will stop and ask you about it. They will probably also walk away thinking that you are half crazy! lol I have mine for rootstock, because grafting is a goal of mine.

My husband was using them long before I was, way before windows, during the punch card era. I remember he was so proud when he got one of the very first "portable" computers the Osborne which was the size of a large suitcase with about a 6" screen, the screen was black with neon yellow text. When we moved here I was devastated to leave my FIOS behind but luckily we have very very fast cable here so I have no complaints. I was lucky to have a good friend that is a linux programmer and coder, that took me under his wing and became my linux guru. He pushed me to install linux on one of my computers many years ago and man I am so glad he did. I do still have a few windows computers here but I dearly love using linux, not many worries about infection. I have my little netbook I can use in my recliner plus my Pandigital Novel tablet that I can carry around and use anywhere I want, especially laying in bed to read. A few desktops and my husbands laptop. yes it is definitely the dragon type program and not the tablet that is the problem. Do you know for sure if the one installed is specifically for the version of android on the tablet? Is your dragon touch tablet kitkat 4.4 Android? Make sure the dragon naturally speaking app is the one for that version. Which one of the Dragon apps is he using? I did not realize there were several of them.
