Well I will go first. We did 7 bathrooms. One of those has 2 of everything ( 6 boys share). 5 of those baths had full tile surrounds, pebble shower floors, hex bath floors. Each shower had its own unique deco band to give each its own appropriate look. The 2 other baths are powder rooms and have no tile.

All inclusive grout, tile, deco bands, etc. it was the bargain price of 11,000.00.

I forgot that the price also included the extensive subway back splashes in the kitchen.

Now it may seem like a lot, but for what we did it is a good price in my opinion and many others. I could have easily spent 3 times this amount but did do some stock tile like the Daltile subway, at less than 3.00 per sq. ft. it was really a bargain.

Here are some pics. I also included kitchen back splashes just so you could get the scope of how much tile we bought. I must say I have 10 cases of subway left over so that makes it even less costly as I will probably sell it.

My bath tile was 140 sq ft of subways @ $1.76 fq ft (Lowe's)
another $300 for liner tile, chair rail and borders.
About $1200 fro the marble floor tile, approx. 60 sq ft. Included some expensive marble liners.
Then there's Kerdi, Ditra, backers, thinsets (3 kinds!) and grout. It would take an hour to pull out all those receipts and figure in the exchanges and returns to come out with the real number. I think the kerdi/ditra bill was around 250.
It's by a long shot the single biggest out-of-pocket budget line. Well, unless you lump "fixtures" into one, but I have thought of them separately, since they all came from different sources.

Approx. $2K for an 8' x 8' bathroom wall, shower, and floor.

We spent $3/sq ft for wall and floor porcelane tile. The border was $15/piece and tile with deco design was $20/piece. The tile was purchased at a small tile store.

I've bought tile in the $2-3/square foot range for the bathrooms I've done, plus the usual $10-20 for decorative borders and insets.

Well, I'm the outlier here, I guess.

16x16 field tile, porcelain, polished: $14/sq.ft (Unpolished would have been a couple dollars cheaper)

2x2 mosaic for floor, porcelain, unpolished: $22/sq.ft

No borders, no deco strips, nothing like that.

my Bisazza glass mosaic tiles were from $7.5 to $16 per square foot. there are some great deals on ebay.

I paid $2000 (including shipping) for 100 sq feet of soapstone tiles and trim from Vermont Soapstone, and $1500 for 225 sq feet of glass mosaic tile (free shipping) from Mosaic Tile Supplies

My crocodile tile (walker zanger mantouche tobac) was $12.50 sq ft. The travertine (12x12) was $12.50 sq ft, and the larger travertine was $18.00 sq ft. The noric black antique was $18.00 sq ft.

My laundry room tile (travertine as well) was around $20 sq ft.

My kitchen backsplash was over $100 sq ft (something like 119 I believe) so any quotes I got under 20 sq ft excited me LOL
