When are the new Miele products are coming out?

We're building a new house and want to put in a miele single oven, Optima dishwasher and a coffee system. In particular, the new plumbed in coffee system being sold in the UK looks great and has a stainless flask for milk which keeps it cold for hours.

We need appliances installed by the end of the year, but can probably wait on the coffee system. Has anyone heard when it is coming out in the U.S.?

Coffee sys will likely be the first to deliver here. We've got one promised mid Nov. nut we'll see. The new ovens are 12-18 mos. out and I'm not sure on the DW, I'd have to look.

Bottom line is don't hold your breath on any of them. The sizes should remain unchanged for all units. The DW's have been the same for roughly 30 years, the coffee sys since inception. The ovens are a bit of a wild card as Miele is now catering to the NA market so sizes could change there.

Basically if you have plumbing roughed in and elect. there you'll be fine as there is plenty of room behind in a 24" deep cabinet.

You can see the new ovens on the web site. The Miele rep told me they won;t be available til the end of 2009. The 24 inch ovens are substantially bigger on the inside.

no, not really. In fact, I only buy plants I have seen and know a bit about. I didn't always though. Lessons have been learned. Generally, especially if money is not always flush, it seems better to buy plants which you believe will be good for your garden...and this info is rarely available in the horticultural industry. Lots of lovely photos, but hardly anything really useful and never specific to your garden. Not that I am not tempted - I have been holding off T&Ms blue verbascum for a couple of years yet - if it's good, it will still be around when I have had a chance to get familiar with it. Because I love roses, the issue of rose replant syndrome also tends to propagate a certain caution - a bad choice is not easily replaced without much soil amendement and mycchorhizae so impulse is a bad rationale for plant buying.

When I first saw the new baskets and 3D cutlery tray (on the UK site) last year, I also wondered how much they would cost, and it they could even fir in the other models. When I was at the Miele showroom last month, they said they expected the new units in around mid-June. I asked them about seeing if the baskets from the new models would fit the older models. I think the only way to know, is to try it out. I was going to call back up there next week and see if they have an update as to when they expect the new units in. But a few weeks ago I called the Miele parts department and they didn't have any info yet on the new models, or even the part numbers for the new baskets. But if I'm able to find out that the new baskets can fit in the older units, then I'd be interested in seeing how much those new baskets cost, once the Parts department gets them in. If it would cost a lot, then maybe just do one at a time.

Yes, very quiet... I wouldn't have know it was on at all except for the beeping of the alarm that lets you know it is not at the desired temperature. I am very impressed by it and excited to have it. The door and interior shelving is so easily adjustable and again, I can't say enough about the interior lighting. We were on the fence about refrigerators for a long time... which brought me to this website. We had ordered all new / all Miele appliances but could not decide on a frige. Nothing seemed to match the look of the other appliances and we were going to reluctantly get the SZ (and I only say reluctanly because of the look - not performance)until we heard the Miele fridge would soon be available. It has a very simple and sleek look to it and with the stainless door panels we ordered there is no Miele logo on the outside making it appear even cleaner. I'm glad we waited.

no set time of year. Many are previewed at KBIS in April but rollout can be summer, fall, spring or winter. Can also be whenever current stock is sold out which is based on consumer demand. Can be when UL grants approval. Can be.........

i also am getting the miele dishwasher (VG2470SCVi) and an electric single oven (undercounter mount) and the speed oven, in my total kitchen remodel. the miele rep hadn't mentioned to me that the H4881B wasn't out yet. he just said that the only difference b/w it and the H4880B is the "back height" to accomodate better a cooktop on the counter above. they should be, though, because i see it being sold online just about everywhere.

I called Miele a few months ago (June I think) to obtain the specs for the new plumbed coffee system with integrated/refrigerated milk canister, and was told that they were originally hoping to have them in the fall of 2008, but that delivery was delayed, and the new estimate was February 2008, but I can't say that she sounded 100% sure of that date either.

I would call their residential appliances division and ask again if you want a more current update. If you do get one, let us know what you find out please! :)
