Drain flange for apron/farmhouse sink?

I installed a Pegasus farmhouse sink in my bathroom vanity and while installing the faucet, realized the standard drain flange won't work since the bottom of the farmhouse sink is totally flat (vs having a drop-down "neck" to it like traditional sinks have).

The result of this is that the drain flange won't work because 1) the overflow holes in the drain flange are exposed (the farmhouse sink doesn't have an overflow), and 2) the flange doesn't even have threads high enough on the body to secure it to the sink bottom.

I've gone to Home Depot, Rebacks and Ace Hardware, and have spoken to a sales rep at Faucet Depot (online store) and no one seems to know of a suitable replacement flange.

I have to think this comes up all the time with farmhouse sinks, no? Aren't all of them flat on the bottom and without an overflow? If so, what do most people use for the drain flange? There's nothing special about my sink, just standard Pegasus farmhouse.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
