rotating video from IPhone

Hello All,

Someone sent me a video from their IPhone, but when I tried to view the video, it's on it's side. I assumed it was coming through on Windows media but now that I look at it I see it says "Img_1992.mov(5MB). Goes on to say file not viewable since I don't have a previewer installed. Sort of answers my question, doesn't it---but I can view it I think through my Windows Media, but, as I said, it's on it's side. Question is, can I rotate this, and if not where do I get the previewer?

Apple uses Quicktime player not Windows Media Player. You will need Quicktime player or another player that is compatible with .mov format.

Fun Gina! Mom and I did go to the Date Festival and the street fair last year. The only down side was that it was a very short trip and the weather was cold and rainy when I was there!! I know it wasn't the norm, but still made for a cold day at the Festival. I loved the street fair. The other fun one is every weekend flea market/craft show at the College of the Desert. Really enjoyed that too. We're actually going to Palm Springs again in April. We'll be there the 10th-17th I think. Not sure what events might be happening that week, but mostly going to relax by the pool anyway! Good to know Zee. I'm a graphic designer and have all the latest and greatest programs (Premier, iMovie, After Effects, etc.) at the office on my Mac but nothing on my PC when I'm home and want to edit videos. Forgot all about Movie Maker! Jodi-

My Canon camera records videos in .mov format and Windows media player plays them.

Thanks all for your replies, and thanks zep516 for the link. I'll look at that this evening. Maybe this can be fixed. Actually Windows Media played the IPhone video beautifully except it was on its side.
