Somehow I lost an email from a generous Ca plant person! I received the email & was offered host plant seeds including Ruta odorata, a native GST host tree...wild lime I think & Aristolochia durior seeds for PVST for SASBE. Not sure what happened to email but was ready to send envelope & the email is gone! Please respond!!! ;o)

"Usually" would be the key word here. It seems there was a glitch in the process. Only some of the folders were lost. DH never touched them, nor did he delete any of the messages in them. He only deleted inbox messages that had been uploaded to the phone. I have pasted the reply I received from Yahoo: Thank you for contacting Yahoo! Mail. I understand that you want to recover the lost emails that were accidentally deleted on your POP/IMAP client. I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you. Let me provide you more information regarding your concern. Please read on. According to our records, it appears a POP or IMAP client may have deleted your messages. A POP Client is an application such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, while an IMAP client is a mobile device such as a BlackBerry, or iPhone. Emails deleted by a POP client are now moved to the Trash folder on the server. As long as the emails were deleted recently, you should be able to access your Yahoo! Mail account from a web browser and recover the messages from the Trash. You can configure your POP client to leave messages on the Yahoo! Mail server or to delete them from the server. If you are looking to get a computer in the near future and are a fan of outlook express (been using for many years and I also hate the change) you will not be able to continue using it with Windows 7...You can still use it on all older computers inluding vista but when Windows 7 came with my new computer it had no email program with it, and tells you to get your own. It will not support Outlook express. I had to download another program which was free, (Thunderbird) to receive my home email and support the account that held it without changing my email address. I have hot mail and yahoo, both free and have used them for years also, but my Outlook express account took care of all my personal and household mail. That address I did not give out freely. Had I known before I purchased this version I probably would have opened a gmail (free) account and gradually turned my mail over to that to get used to it.
