To DA with love (smiles) * damccoy (My Page) on Thu, Feb 10, 11 at 21:23 Urlee The cumulative update is not a problem. You should do it. Since the update is new I asked as a point of reference in assisting you. If you are leery just do it by itself. DA Did I get a scare when I went on my computer. I got all set and turned on my computer as usual. I can't remember if the welcome screen came but I ended up with a black screen with a dialog box saying: C\windows\system 32\config\systemprofile\Desktop refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on the computer or on a network. Check to make sure the disk is properly inserted or that you are connected to the Internet or your network and then try again. If it still cannot be located, the information may have been moved to a different location Then the message disappeared when I clicked OK and a black desktop with white blank pages in place of the icons were there and the start button with a few of the system tray items. I didn't have the option to shut down (that I remember) so pressed the power button and it blinked so I hit it again or I did the Ctrl, Alt, Delete and the computer booted up with the welcome screen and came up normal. WHEW! That is all I need? What do you think that was all about? Could it have been caused by the updates I did yesterday before I shut down?

When you did as Stargazzer suggests and right clicked on the favourites you then need to look down the left side of Windows Exploror for your CD burner. This will either be listed as the D: drive or E: depending on whether or not you have the Acer recovery partition on the hard drive. Either way locate the CD burner, right click on and then click Paste. Now my memory of Windows 2000 is gone but try right clicking on the CD burner on the eft side of the screen and see if the drop down menu offers you the option to burn to CD. If click on that and follw along. Another thought, don't you have some CD burning software installed from when you bought the computer? Probably Nero or Roxio

I won't even admit how many exercise DVDs I've tried. My very favorite is Karen Voigt and, in fact, I just bought her Ballet BodySculpt DVD http://www.amazon.com/Ballet-BodySculpt-Karen-Voight/dp/B00466G5XA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1342028935&sr=8-1&keywords=ballet+sculpt+voight and I love it. I was worried it would be too easy, but it was a good workout. I have most of her other DVDs also. I also like The Method All in One http://www.amazon.com/Method-Pilates-All-One-Workout/dp/B000067J06/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1342029138&sr=1-1&keywords=The+Method+All+in+One, altho some people think it's too complicated. Sometimes, tho, I think that's better than multiple boring reps. I also recently bought Supreme 90 day http://www.amazon.com/Supreme-Day-System-Cal-Pozo/dp/B004S2YN5O/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1342029208&sr=1-1&keywords=supreme+90+day+10-dvd+set+workout for the Tabata workout, but you get 10 DVDs for $20. I also love Yoga DVDs. The reviews on Amazon really help me decide if a DVD is something I'd like.

I've used that shelf liner in the past. Functionally it's good - grips to the shelves so it doesn't slide around but the top is reasonably smooth enough that most dishware slides off it. I'm actually in the midst of shopping for shelf liner, too. I haven't gone with this type again mostly because I'm not fond of the waffle-y texture. My new kitchen has really clean lines, and as stupid as this sounds, this liner just doesn't seem like the right fit. Instead I'm using two types of liners -- the thicker foam liner by Easy Liner (with a smoother texture). I'm using this for drawers and roll out shelves where I'll be putting plates, pyrex and the like. And then I'm planning to get the smooth diamond liner by Con-tact for shelves that hold glassware and food items. I've been happy with it before even though it doesn't have a grip surface underneath. Two other thoughts -- you can find a lot of old threads here about shelf liners. The gardenweb search feature isn't good though. I'd suggest Googling for: gardenweb.com shelf liner And finally - I've discovered that Amazon prizes on shelf liner are WAY more than in local stores e.g., $14 per roll instead of $8. You might check Home Depot, Lowes, and Bed Bath and Beyond.
