What's your take on pot feet?
Comments (10)I don't use them, just because they are a pain since I move my pots often. One new addition to the pot collection, can make it necessary to adjust the other pots, even slightly to get them to balance, which is hard to do with the feet. My patio is very old, so staining is not an issue. I have noticed from moving and repotting over the ages how slugs do congregate on the bottom of pots and wine barrels. They can do a lot of damage to succulents. But those are the pots I keep the driest, so it hasn't been much of an issue....See MoreReally upset with Microplane :(
Comments (3)Thanks Ann for your suggestion. I am not phone person, so I always start with e-mails. But I did follow your suggestion and after some phone tags, found a correct person to talk to, a very nice sounding lady. What I did find out is, that this is a known problem and they are working on it, to try to figure out the cause and fix it. Meanwhile, I e-mailed her the same photo as above and they will be sending me a new one :) I hope the new one will last, or if not, by the time I need new one, they have fixed the problem, as I really like this grater otherwise....See MoreNeed microplane/garlic technique help
Comments (10)I have posted this picture before as a cautionary tale. That is the compression bandage the doc had to put on my finger to try to staunch the bleeding so he could see exactly what I had done to myself. If it looks a little odd, it is because it was done at his home instead of his office. He's a neighbor and it was late on a Saturday afternoon. Yes, I thought I didn't need the guard and I could just be really really careful. Thanks for the glove link. I want one for my mandoline...to use in addition to the guard....See MoreYour help in choosing MB finishes for claw feet and mirrors and sconce
Comments (3)You have a lot of different elements here, yes, they’re all pretty, but I would reconsider the two toned cabinet thing - I think it will be too much. So where is the patterned tile going and the small dark square tile going? I’m a bit confused by everything lol...See Morelindac
