Getting a folder out of another in favorites?

Somehow?, my number one folder #0000 on the list, found it's way INTO the number 2 folder on the list of favorites, which is listed as #1.

How do I get it OUT of the #1 folder, and back to it's own place as #000 which is the top of the list.

I had it there for ages, and because I got a little frisky with the curser, it jumped away, and I can't seem to get it back to number one, even tho it is listed as #000.

That was the only way I could get it to the top of the list previously.

Does anyone understand what I am trying to say?

Not too good at descriptions sometimes. Sorry, but do appreciate any assistance someone can provide.

OK you have a folder (#0000) inside another folder (#1) and you wish to remove it to the same folder as #1 is stored in. You do not tell us which folder #1 is in so I will assume it is in My Documents. If this is different then each time I refer to My Documents you substitute that with the name of the folder these are in. Make sense?

Right click Start
Click Explore in the pop up and a new window appears.
Click the plus sign + beside My Documents at the top on the left side
Now under this should be the list of your numbered folders.
Click on #1 to highlight it
Now look in the right side of the screen and you will see #0000 listed
Place your cursor over the #0000 and hold down the left mouse button
Keep the button pressed and drag the #0000 onto My Documents in the left side
Release mouse.
Done.

Do not worry about it being above #1, the fact that it is numbered #000 will automatically assure it's position at the top of your listing.

Or if you are referring to Internet Explorer favorites, click Favorites, then Organize Favorites...highlight the folder, click the Move button and click the folder at the top (called Favorites), hit ok until all the boxes close. It should be back at the top, but if not, click Favorites, then right-click on any entry in your list and left click on Sort By Name (at the near bottom of the list)That should bring any entries with special characters (like #) to the top.

I don't have anything else planted in the main top tier rose bed. The bottom tier is a mix of minis, bulbs and perennials of all kinds. I also have a couple of clems with my climbers. And last year I had a ton of volunteer petunias come up in all my rose pots. I decided to let them grow and it was so pretty that I let them grow again this year. They're mostly pinks and purples and they go really well with the roses, fill in the empty messy dirt in the pots and work just like mulch in keeping the soil cool and moist. I just have to be careful with some of the smaller roses. The petunias have a habit of out growing the mini's and shading them. The street bed has some iris in one corner. I'm not sure how that's going to work out because the iris are multiplying rapidly and I may have to pull them out before they take over the roses. It sure was pretty this spring when they were in bloom at the same time as the roses though!

Favorite top ruined, can't find another

Had to go to the drug store anyway, so whipped into Elder Beermans and headed for the CK clearance rack. Couldn't find the rack of clothes. Almost left, then asked the clerk if there was any chance she knew if they had the said top left in 2X. She said, "I think we still have those" and lead me right to them - there was the charcoal color, but in my size? She went through them and held up a 2X!, then she held up another 2X! I nearly hugged her. She was smiling. And I was a greedy puss and took BOTH of them at 60% off. LOL! Now I have three of the same top in the same color. Oh my. I should have left one for someone else. patti43 - I wonder if I should have Googled my local Elder Beermans instead of EB in general? Then I found two other shirts that I really liked. ellendi, I just got home and read your post. I have done that in the past as well, buy something in multiple colors because it fit. Only this CK top in bright red and orange just isn't me. Thanks again all and as I said I'll remember all the tips for stain removal (I've got three to practice on!) and work on the first top to see if I have any results.

Desert, I take cuttings in late winter, early spring. When I am pruning my roses for the spring, I will take a piece of the cane that I cut and have it be about 6 inches long or so. Make sure they do have at least two or three or more eyes on the canes. I shove the cane into the ground about two inches or I sometimes use potting soil. That is it. I sit back and watch them grow. Make sure they stay moist. Now, not everything will grow as Seil states, but I have had very good luck with Candice, Lavender Crystal and with Brother Cadfael. I figure since all of my roses are own root, that I have a fighting chance since they grew from/on their own roots already. I know that my Wedding Cake is extremely difficult to grow on its own root.

Thanks so much, have printed out these tidbits, as this happens just a tad too often to suit me. I usually drag up, and make do with where I end up, but this is perfect!!!!!!!
