We just finished a fairly low budget (under $1500) remodel of our hall bathroom. Our house has 2 bathrooms, the master and this one, so this one is used by our guests and 2 kids (2 years and 4 years). I just wanted to share the before/after photos!

That's pretty remarkable! I love your choice of vanity and mirror, and it goes beautifully with the bold background... also liked that you tied in the dark with the rest of the room via the shower curtain.

It's really a great makeover. You'd never know it was on a budget. So warm and vibrant! I really love the shower curtain, too. It just makes the whole space seem custom.

I think the new paint was a wise choice :-) Your remodels turned out well. Not every remodel shows here needs to, or should be, a down-to-the-studs-reconfigure-everything-in-our-10x20-bathroom LOL! I live in a very modest and small home, and I love seeing what can be done with relatively minor changes like paint and counter, great work!

Wow! I love your choices - it's a beautiful bathroom. The transitional tiles are really neat! together with the pebble accent they are gorgeous. You listed what items you used for everything but the sink - who makes the sink? Do you by any chance have a picture of the vanity with the doors open - I am not happy with the way my cabinet maker made my space by the doors and your sink looks similar to my kohler sink - I'd love to see how the guts of your vanity looks. Very welcoming, warm, and cozy! Kudos to your wife and you for the tile choices. I love the way you and/or your tiler chose to place the tiles. The floor tiles are fun, the way they form diamonds, instead of making random wavy directions. I also love the shower tiles in a vertical running bond pattern. Again, they were not randomly lain, the tiler gave some thought to direction of the flow of the grain. I especially like that you tiled to the ceiling. I admire the bits of shiny bling, especially the mirror. It is very pretty, balancing the masculine "rock" messages sent out by the dark tile on the floor right in front of the vanity. My DH and I will be turning our only full bath into a shower-only and it is just a bit bigger than your room. It is good to see that you, after giving up the master to her mom, can find a bit of luxury in your smaller guest bathroom!

@Z Y the white tiles are from lowes in two different sizes, they're called satorini white glossy tile. The center accent tile is from home depot: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Ivy-Hill-Tile-Pacif-White-Shells-11-81-in-x-11-81-in-x-2-mm-Pearl-Shell-Mosaic-Tile-EXT3RD102059/300915818 i got the cabinets custom made.. which really wasnt that expensive considering...

I love how your paint color bursts with energy ;) It is a fun space with your retro cool vibe and happy walls.
It is timeless so, years from now, you can re-paint and have a whole new look again because the basics are neutral yet not bland.
