Urlee...
If your Real Player is working fine, I would not download
anything.
Read each item...and decide if you actually want or need the item. The 'critical' update, I think, wants to install the latest version. No need if your's is working correctly.
The 'plug-ins' are just things you might want to have, although personally, I've never had any need for them.
In fact, I seldom use Real at all.
Real has way too much 'stuff' that uses resources.

Hope this helps...

txKen,

THANK U so much for your reply.
You are a sweetheart.

Urlee...
While I'm thinking of it, as you go along and play
Real files from time to time, you will be asked
if you want to download an update or 'codec' etc.,
that you may need to play the file, if needed.
You can update the particular item at that time.

txKen :)

Thanks,
Will do.

I would suggest that unless you use the features in real to buy music or shop, that you uninstall real player and go for real alternative. There is also a quicktime alternative. Together they will get rid of 2 poorly built programs with a history of security problems.

Here is a link that might be useful: Real alternative
