I'm doing white subways in shower and halfway up around the room. I was thinking of a white decorative border, but that's a lot of white. Today I found some cool samples at a showroom and am thinking I need a shot of color.

1. Lunada Bay glass in Atami silk. Staggered small rectangles in cool organic blueish gray, greens, clear, brownish.

2. Opal Green marble mosaic, kinda like Ming green, 1/2" squares, greens/whites/grays.

Which sounds better? Or looks better, if you care enough to search? Sorry, I can't get the hang of posting photos right now.

The marble is more classic, but the glass is very subtle and in the running bond pattern is less modern. It's also reminiscent of seawater to me, and I like that.

I apologize for no pics and hope for some expert opinions.
