bypass shower door install input

My shower walls and curb consist of slate tile and the problem i'm having now is having the bottom and side rails of the bypass shower door sit flush against the wall and curb. Since the tile varies quite a bit there are gaps along the side rails and bottom rails. The bottom rail is already pitched slightly but b/c of the uneven curb the pitch is canceled out. I can shim the bottom rail and it'll regain it's pitch inward.

Should I just silicone seal the crap up and down the sides of the vertical rails and shim and silicone seal the crap out of the bottom rail?
