Seagate DiscWizard

I've been reading the posts about imaging the C: drive to an external hard drive as a backup. I have Seagate's FreeAgent Desk. Is DiscWizard the free imaging program for Seagate users? Is it the same as Acronis' True Image? Does anyone know if it's user friendly?

Yes, it is Acronis True Image. No doubt revised slightly for Seagate so those with other drives cannot make use of it. I suspect the controls are very similar and if so you will have no problem creating your image.

I have both the Maxtor and Seagate version downloaded but as I also have 2 versions of Acronis (7 & 11) I have yet to try those of the hard drive company. It will be interesting to read your opinion once you have done your image.

I downloaded DiscWizard today and imaged my C: drive to it. As Canibus said, it did work perfectly.
