pattis: Thanks for the compliment. We wanted a warm color on our walls because our bathroom is on the north side of the house....very cold in the winter. Our 10 year old granddaughter spent the night this weekend and she only uses the master bathroom because we are in the midst of diy-ing the other bathroom. Anyway, I realized after she left that the sink was clean...There weren't any drops of hand soap on the sink or counter. With the previous soap dispenser, there was always soap in the sink after the grandkids used it.

The reason I mention the longer spout is that someone on here recently mentioned the spout not reaching far enough, based on where the hole was drilled in their counter. I have a 33" apron front sink with about a 3/4" reveal which pushes the granite back a bit and thus the holes are a bit further back (standard from edge of granite). My spout just reaches to the very edge of the sink.

I had the same dilemma, and I asked about it in the thread below. I did not get one. I keep the dish soap under the sink. I was all about ease of cleaning, and I didn't want another thing to clean around. That said, I have friends who have three dispensers next to the sink in their beautiful, functional kitchen: one for dish soap, one for hand soap, and one for hand lotion. I bought a Delta pull-out sprayer faucet with the soap dispenser 10 years ago. I HATED it. Only because someone had to get into the cabinet, unscrew the bottle, and bring it out to refill it. PITA! A couple of years ago, the head of this faucet fell off. It had rusted out and was pretty corroded. My husband liked the dispenser for practical reasons as he is a mechanic and, as such, gets his hands pretty dirty. Our kitchen is the closest room to the garage. So we went on a hunt for the perfect faucet and soap dispenser. I found an American Standard pull-out sprayer faucet with the soap dispenser. This dispenser is SO much better. Just pull out the pump and refill. No getting into the cabinet to get the bottle to refill. :-)
