HELP! Need to pick paint color by 7am for Master Bath!!!!
Comments (10)Thx everyone!! :) I am so under gun...I thought I would have another week to decide but the contractors want to start painting tomorrow BEFORE the cabinets go in. I decided to go with the darker shade in the pics....the Stratton Blue. I agree that the colors are not showing up well on the monitor. After the job is done, if I truly don't like it, I will take my time and try to consider a brownish gold tone like in the suggestions above. Part of me really wanted a spa-like calming blue which is why I am trying to work off the Palladian Blue card. olychick - I love that picture of the room with the palladian blue ceiling. I never even considered doing something like that and I really would love to know what the color is on those walls! That is really a gorgeous beautiful room! Soooooo if I hate the Stratton after it is all up and done, I will re-paint.......See MoreI need help picking out paint colors for one story house

Comments (27)We are replacing the tile due to cracking and other issues. Updating both our bathrooms for resale in foreseeable future (empty nesters). Our hallway bath will be black and white basket weave on the floor and white subway in tub area. Very excited about this as our first house in 1988 had the original black and white and we have always loved that look. We had no idea it was "in" until we went tile shopping and of course Pinterest ha . We found these two hex patterns. The one on the left is standard hex. The one on the right is marble ( I assume it's real ??) The second one is clearly a nicer and thicker tile, but what about the marble? Is this the best of both worlds or still not right to go with the blue vintage tile? I am not crazy about the size of the tiles. Would go with penny tile as suggested by CP, but no go for hubby....See MoreUpdate (need paint color!) Cosmetic master bath fix up for resale
Comments (23)Remove the shelving system and take pix so we can make further suggestions. My pet peeve is a lack of towel bars. I don't like to see towels hung on the shower door handle. Maybe a nice pair of towel bars in place of the shelving. If there's an electrical outlet behind the shelves, then consider adding a towel warming unit; that would sell a lot of people on the bathroom. Put robe hooks on the back of the bathroom door. Do the shades match others throughout the house? You might upgrade those to something a little less "off the shelf" looking. Move your toilet brush holder to the other side of the toilet so it isn't seen upon entering the room. For showings, turn on all the lights, including the ones in the toilet and shower areas....See MoreRelated Professionals
