Why is this happening?

Just the past couple of days, when I try to get onto Glyphs forums and a few others here at GardenWeb, the page displays for a second and then blanks out, appearing to load halfway but no further.

At the bottom of the page I see:

transferring data from tags.bluekai.com

What the heck is going on?

The exact same thing is happening to me only on my Android phone and it has to be one of the many ads that is causing it. If I close out of that and re-enter the address for the page it usually will display normally. It is extremely frustrating. On my computers that have firefox with adblock plus and easylist it is not happening which is what is leading me to believe it is ad related.

I would use the contact us button at the bottom and let them know you have this problem so they can attempt to determine what is causing it.

You are not alone and it is not just your computer. now I have no idea what Glyphs is but my experience has been here at GW. and most noticeably at KT

It's happening to me on Firefox but not on IE - where I am now.
Raven - I believe you're right I've been getting ads that I don't normally get and wondering where they were coming from. Now I know. This is the only place it happens. Hope someone fixes it.

+1 what hab says. Absolutely nothing to worry about. It is an older leave that the plant no longer needs and likely it will fall off soon. It kind of looks like it might have gotten some sunburn at some time in the past. Don't worry about it. The plant is doing great.

I agree Eric on '' peaked my interest '' . I would not assume anything for now . Maybe the A -- this would be a disaster -- or B -- wrong latex for the mortar -- , but it should be visible as a residue and should not turn back to the original color of the dry grout . Could be the glue on the mesh or the paper from the penny tile which reacts to the water ? Possible . Have an upside down picture of the penny tiles ? It would be interesting to have a small batch of mixed grout , allowed to dry and wet it again . The wet grout will tell part of the story . Sealing the grout will only farther complicate the issue at hand . Definitely the contact with water is creating a reaction . Could you let water from the shower head hit part of the wall -- about 12'' up from the floor -- for about 10 minutes and take pictures once you stopped the running water and after 15 minutes from it ? If it turns white , could you feel any residue ?

Last summer, this was my lawn using alfalfa and Milorganite. I was stoked to have that lawn. Then, the below happened over the winter and now into spring time. What had happened and what do I do about it? Ride it out and keep on keeping on? Call a pro? Weed killer? I have close ups of the different weeds - I can count at least five different kinds...

Check out a channel called "lawn care life" on youtube. The guys name is Jason,He posts all kinds of great info..And hes in your area too. What hurt you is not putting down a premergent. You are suppose to do it in sept and march. If you miss those times you will have to deal with weeds unfortunalty. I have a bermuda lawn and its tough so can use a broad leaf spray. Be careful using a broadleaf spray killer on zoysia as its a little more tender from what I have heard/seen on videos.

I don't seem to be having the problems I did before I added adblock. You might want to download it.

I re-installed Adblock Plus (which I thought I already had) and it looks like everything is back to normal -- thanks for the good advice!
