Costco vanities and site for medicine cabinets

Anyone have any experience with Costco bathroom vanities. For the money, they seem to be amazing deals and are usually all wood with dovetail connections, full extension and ball bearing slides.

Also, can anyone recommend a good medicine cabinet that's wooden and isn't recessed. Should be wide enough for a 48 inch vanity and preferably have only one mirror or a large center one and smaller side ones. I'm mostly an online shopper.

For a medicine cabinet, this site has a search filter so you can see a few that meet what you are looking for. I didn't order my Nutone recessed one from here. Beware of a "Excess Weight Fee" tagged on to your shopping cart. It appeared on my shopping cart when I bought this and it was a $150 fee. Mine in stainless steel inside so it's heavy.

I had great luck with online shopping with Home Depot. A "chat" window popped up and I could ask questions, and the person offered me a discount code for 10% that day. So try Home Depot too.

thanks for the medicine cabinet site. Home Depot stuff is made of more plastic, I've heard. I wonder if that pertains to medicine cabinets.

I just looked on the Restoration Hardware site, and there are several examples of the sconces being wider than the vanity. Some appear to be very purposefully placed wider than the vanity, other appear to be just a shade wider. Here is a link that might be useful: RH bathroom pictures

The site lightingdirect dot com has a search feature for bathroom lighting, 6 or more lights and I see some there. I strongly urge you not to replace it with this same style. It is so dated...that's why you are having trouble finding it. I just helped prep an older relative's home for sale and removing/replacing the strip light of globes was just about the only change the real estate agent suggested. Something like the one linked below is so much more attractive. My 3 light vanity light like this points down and the light at the mirror is great. I believe many of these can be installed pointing either up or down. Here is another one. My friends bought some of the Costco vanities for their house a few years ago and like them. We would have bought some for our house if they had been available when we were making our cabinet decision.

Yeah,they get pretty good reviews and seem to be of top quality. Plus Costco has excellent return policy. You can't get a nice vanity, granite top, backsplash, and undermount bowl (and sometimes the matching mirror) for under $1000 anywhere. Usually the granite costs over $1000.

costco vanities are great...i wish I got one instead of my HD one. my HD one is particle board and the costco ones are mostly wood. Also, the hinges are really nice the door shut nice and slow at least the one I looked at the other day. each model I am sure is different but overall seem like a great deal. I was close to buying one and just trying to sell the other one on craigslist.

I have two vanities from Costco and have been very happy with them. I don't think you can go wrong with Costco, but I would recommend reading the product details closely when making your selection.

I bought the 36" Covington about 2 1/2 years ago for my powder room, though the granite is different from what they're selling now. The granite is thick, came with three backsplashes, and the drawers and doors are all self close. You can see from the weight the vanity is very heavy. Overall, it has a very solid, high quality look and feel to it.

In contrast, the other vanity I bought (not on the Costco site) has soft close only on the doors, came with just one backsplash, the granite is 1/2" thick, and weighs much less. I'm happy with it, but it doesn't have as high end feel to it as the other one.

My husband & I have looked all over to find a Costo nearby that carries a white vanity with a granite top. He saw a beauty in SC for under $300.00, but couldn't transport it at the time. Can you tell me where you found yours at? I've got my heart set on white, and the Costco one was just what we wanted:(

I saw a lot of medicine cabinets on Build.com they were in their clearance section of the website.

I'm in Arizona. I bought one of the vanities online from Costco.com (Covington), and the other I bought at the Costco Home store here in the Phoenix area that closed last year. Most of their vanities have a wood finish, not painted, but here's the link if you want to check out what they have. (Go to Hardware).

Too bad to have to pass up a $300 vanity. Sounds like that was a fabulous deal.

Wow! I didn't even think about Costco for vanities. The ones I looked at on line (at Costco.com) said shipping was included in the price.

questions about the costco vanities ... anyone place one side against a wall? Did it come with or did you make a side trim piece? And did it come with "side-splash?" Thanks in advance.

We have 4 vanities from Costco. Two were bought in store and the other two were bought online. Happy with all them. Very nice quality and the prices is excellent. Of the ones we ordered online, one came with a scratch on it, we ordered another one of their site and took the scratched one into the store for return. They took it back, no questions asked.

Faucetdirect.com has a huge inventory of medicine cabinets. I purchased my Kohler recessed cabinet from them a couple of months ago, but noticed they have a large selection of every type of medicine cabinet and the prices are extremely competitive. I also was able to get free shipping.
