That solid surface countertop is really beautiful! What is it?

I think it would look great to pair that with the cream/white cabinets and a terra-cotta wall. Were you thinking something that dark?

I don't like the wood cabinets as much with the floor.

I'm with you, the wood and the wood floor is too much for me. The white cabinets would help make sure it isn't too dark too.

The countertop is Caesarstone - Copper Canyon. I really like it.

Love the floors, creamy cabs and the concrete, but I'm not a big fan of the solid surface, I think it's limiting you in wall and accent colors. Have you considered concrete everywhere? With that concrete counters, floors and creamy cabs you can do literally *any* wall or accent color. If you're committed to solid surface, consider Corian's "Gravel", a dark grey with color flecks that, to my eye, is more neutral than the color you've chosen.

Hmm, that's an idea. I didn't plan on concrete everywhere because it's a huge project but I'm sure I could do it if I decided to. I don't like the gravel much.

I wanted something to combine the charcoal colour of the concrete with a rich brown. If I ditch the brown idea I get a lot more options but I don't see any other solid countertops that speak out to me. I probably would go with all concrete then and something very cheerful on the walls.
