What is this - VPN 2.3.3-1002

Found this on my husbands Win 7 computer. I tried Google but don't understand the explanation. Secunia said it needed updating but I have no clue what it is or how it got on his computer.

I'm guessing it has to do with Virtual Private Network? We never set anything like that up and am a bit worried.

Yes, it's software for a Virtual Private Network. Just uninstall it if it's not used.
