Wow!! Go away for a few days (read: computer in the shop) and look what happens. What a pretty little plant! I can't wait. Right now I'm fighting the 'they all seem happy but they aren't growing very fast' issue. Some of them don't seem to be getting bigger at all. I don't know what's wrong. I've started playing with the distance from the lights, but unfortunately I have limited options with that. Maybe I'll reduce the number of bulbs over each shelf. I *really* want those new little guys to start blooming. But so far not even a single bloom stalk on all my little ones. On the other hand, the leaves I put down are producing babies like mad. *They* at least, seem to like the amount of light. Shy Blue is very pretty. Thanks for the pic. I really apreciate it. Bragu, that might be me breathing heavy. I realized after I made some uploads to Flickr that the audio added to the photo comes out as a mp4 and not a jpg image. However, if I go back to the camera I can choose to format it as jpg (without audio) and will do that in order to post photo to GWeb. That leaves me with a dilemma. I was counting on keeping note of the plant names via audio and must make two efforts. I'll keep the video/audio format and the JPG format since my computer has a huge harddrive. And I will do the name tags twice. Ah the price of obsessive compulsive naming and indexing! If like NORMAL gardeners who put their plants in the ground in ONE SPOT, I'd remember where each one resided. Not many hosta pick up and move in the dead of night, unless there is a plant thief loose in the neighborhood. It would not take long (even with 500) to remember where each one lived. For now, if you want to see what it looks and sounds like as a mp4 file, visit my Flickr album and the new uploads are the first ones you'll encounter. Some of them have first couple of syllables clipped off, but the printed hosta names are now included....I just added them tonight. I'll upload the JPG form of the pictures here as time goes by, according to appropriate threads. Nothing is as simple as it should be I suppose. I checked and the camera has two files for the same photo. Same number, different file type at the end. I hope Funn sees this about the camera. Woohoo. My file was rejected by GWeb photo uploader because it was LARGER THAN 5000 KB. Guess I'll go to Flickr and upload it there first to resize. Another interesting adjustment to make before sharing pictures.

As to voice recognition? It's still really awful. We have it for our phone system at work. One message it took for me told me the man was looking for steaks and kidneys. He was talking about pharmacogenomics. Not even close?! But typical of the messages it takes. My boss has Dragon on his machine and I'm pretty sure he submitted a manuscript to a journal using that instead of dictated and me typing it up. When it came back, I found so many typos in it! I said to myself, it'd have been easier if he'd just given it to me first go around? And sure enough, he's given it all back to me. Maybe in another decade or two it'll be fine tuned enough. I do use it on my phone all the time. I love it so much, I wish my keyboard at work could do that, but I sit in an office with two others in ear shot. Nope. Not gonna happen.
