If you go with Samsung, do not go with one that has the ice maker that makes 10 lbs of ice in 24 hours(I think its 24, maybe 12). We had the RF263BEAESR/AA model, its a French Door and although I loved the layout and the way it kept everything fresh in the fridge, the ice maker was a disaster. It dripped water from the ice dispenser, down the front of the fridge and the ice was not fully frozen and water also dripped inside the fridge. We went though months of replacing parts - even the door! Finally, they offered a "buy back" then reneged on it. I stood my ground and finally got the "buy back check." However, I, in the meantime bought another Samsung fridge, basically because I couldn't find one with a similar layout. This model is an older model RFG298HDRS/XAA. It is no longer being made but it has two ice makers and basically the same layout of the other model. It is a 29 cf instead of a 26 so that helps to make up for the area lost due to slightly different size ice maker. So far so good and this time we have a 5 year warranty through Lowes. Numerous people complained about ice makers not working on the Samsung fridges. Google "800 complaints on Samsung appliances" and you will see what I mean. Whatever you do, register your appliances and you will get an additional 3 months of warranty. Plus check your credit card, some give an additonal year if you use it. When we started having issues, it was in the 3 month period. I didn't pay for any of the replacement parts or service charge and the 3 months were past - but I was still working on the initial problem and I kept records of who I spoke with, the transaction numbers, dates I called, copies of the replaced parts and their numbers, etc. That is what helped me fight for the buy back. It seems pretty common for them to offer it then reneg due to some technicality. If you or anyone needs a phone number for Samsung Home Office/ Office of the President, let me know. I think I saved it for future use.

Thank you weissman and segesta for the quick responses! I was doing some research on fridges and while there is no "perfect" one (duh), the Samsung one met my needs... The KA one I think is just a bit too expensive for me.

The other option is to just get over it. :) A kitchen is a workroom. Most people prefer to choose best in class from many different manufacturers to ensure their work room works efficiently. No manufacture makes best in class in each category, so if you choose the best functioning DW, you will probably end up with a different brand range and a different brand fridge anyway. As long as everything IS stainless, it's fine. And, there are plenty of people who even mix stainless and non stainless successfully. Anyone who comes in your home and turns their nose up at coordinating stainless appliances that do not necessarily match needs to be thrown out of your home.

I agree with the other respondants....don't worry about the SS finish, check to see if the handles are compatible. Most stainless steel appliances come in what's called the #4 brushed finish. You can mix brands with little fear that the metal finish will not match. In our kitchen, we went with the appliances that met the function and budget needs we had. We love to cook, so we spent the money on a Wolf rangetop with griddle and Wolf hood. Then because we live out west where there are water/drought restrictions, we went with the quietest and most water efficient dishwasher, an Asko. I wanted the Wolf double convection ovens, but didn't want to spend that much money, so I found a terrific deal on the FP double convection ovens. Nearly the same performance for more than half the cost. And the same terrific customer service from their tech department. We could't see spending a huge amount for the SZ fridge (althought I'll admit I secretly coveted one!), so we ended up going with the LG French door, which was highly recommended on this website when it first came out. After 4 years, it fell apart inside (cheap plastic interior) so we replaced it with the newest Samsung, also highly recommended in here. Now I can make the argument we could have just spent the $$ on the Sub Zero after having to buy 2 cabinet depth lesser makes, LOL. The good news is that they all look great together...both cheap and expensive brands. Even the handles are slightly different, but each appliance meets our needs beautifully. So don't worry about matching everything.
