Cement board around shower but what

elsewhere? I'm tiling above and to the sides of the shower, and will use easyboard there, and probably have enough to do the small wall around the vanity, and across to the shower (basically two walls will have tile floor to ceiling.)

I also have blueboard - the moisture/mould resistant drywall which I was originally going to use behind the vanity, around the door and up to the wall where the easyboard/cement board starts.

Is there an advantage going one way or the other? There'll be some sort of waterproof membrane going there too around the shower at least - will I need it on the wall beside the shower, or behind the vanity? The sink is the sort with no splashback, so it'll be caulked/siliconed to the tile to eliminate gaps and leakage.
