Can I store my pics 'smaller, on ipad?

Question regarding how I store my pics on dropbox, or any other storage.
How can I make the settings 'smaller', so I will have more room to store more?
On my phone, I have chosen ,small', to send pics. Do not know if they are stored this way also.
Thx

An image with decent resolution that's downsized "for storage" or any other reason will have poorer resolution. Clarity is discarded to make the file/image smaller and it's never retrievable. That may or may not be acceptable to you, I just wanted to describe the consequence in case you didn't know. It's not like folding a shirt to put it into a suitcase, it's more like cutting it in half with scissors and packing just one piece.

An image taken with a "small" file size setting will start out with poor resolution to begin with and will lack detail and clarity a larger setting would provide.

How many files and how much capacity do you need? Storage is cheap, whether you're backing up a small number of files (many, many hundreds) on thumb drives/SD cards or more (many, many thousands) on external drives.

Hi folks, We've been working on some of the photo issues and here are some updates. You should be able to now upload from all mobile devices. If you are having difficulties -- such as the 'upload' button being grayed out, please contact us directly. The issue with sideways photos seems to be with mobile devices only and we're still working on that fix. If you are taking a photo from your mobile device and you are taking the photo vertically, if you rotate it before you upload it to the forum, it should appear in the correct orientation AFTER it is submitted. I know this can be confusing, but we are working on it. As far as the issue with the img src html, this seems to be somewhat random for me. I've not been able to replicate it, so I'm not sure what's going on. If you are having this issue, can you email me directly?

Yes, you can. As I am typing this on my iPad, I can see a camera icon and the word "Photo" in the lower left of this white space I am typing in. I will tap on that icon and I get a popup that gives me two choices -- "Take Photo or Video" and "Choose Existing." So, I will take the second choice... It takes me to my "camera roll" where i tap on my choice and it automatically uploads.

If you touch the photo you want and leave your finger on it, you should get a pop-up option to save the photo. It will then be in your photo album, and you can use it again in your new thread. Note: the quality of the photo will probably not be as high as the original you uploaded, but for the purposes of the forum, most likely fine!

I'm happy for all of you. But fixing whatever was messing you up, seems to have broken my ability to upload photos from my computer (Windows 7). I haven't been able post a photo since August 26! Cleaning out the cache made no difference. I click on the post photo button and go to the folder with the picture. But when I click on the photo....nothing. If I copy and paste it into the post, it shows up on the pre-submit. However, the post won't go through because then it claims I have too many characters. Frustrating!
