Lost e-mails....

I am hoping someone here can help me with this. My AOL went bad a while ago, and after much trying to fix it without success, I called their helpline. The tech had me try different things, but nothing worked. I finally ended up un-installing and then re-installing the program under their direction, and that took care of things, EXCEPT all my saved e-mails were gone! Everything! I called them back, and the tech had me doing some time consuming and rater complicated (and confusing) things that did bring it back, but when I signed on the next morning it was gone again. Everything I have saved since then is OK, but the older stuff is gone! I suppose I could try calling them again, but often they seem as clueless as I am....

Any ideas what the problem might be? I know I should be better about backing stuff up.

That's one of the problems that I found when we were on AOL. They claim they keep those e-mails saved but it doesn't. It's really best if you print them and save them or if I wanted the info in the e-mail, I sometimes copied and pasted to Word and saved it there.

Sorry, I couldn't be more helpful. But at least you know to protect yourself in the future.

You can get a free mail account with yahoo, hotmail or others and forward the emails that what to save.

Kylie, I resent the e-mail. It is a list of brugs that I do not want, because I already have them. Let me know if you did not get it. Plantlover49 I have not found many things that I do not like.
