Should be in the My Pictures folder which is inside My Documents

I guess the correct path would be C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My Documents\My Pictures
or maybe you're looking for this:
C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper

It could be in the Windows or the Winnt folder as a .bmp depending on your operating system.

I forgot to mention that I have XP. Sorry, but it isn't any of those places. It was a picture from a Christmas screensaver that I downloaded. I uninstalled the screensaver, but this wallpaper remains. The C:\Windows\Wallpaper folder contains pre-installed wallpapers. It is not one of my pictures, so not in My Documents. The only
Winnt files I could find were in Python 22--not there.

I really would like to get rid of this, although I know it doesn't hurt anything to have it in the wallpaper list.

Well, the regular XP screensavers like 3D Flowerbox, 3D Flying Objects, 3D Pipes, 3D Text, Beziers, etc. are in C:\WINDOWS\system32

You have to scroll way down towards the bottom and look for names like ss3dfo, ssbezier, ssflwbox, sstext3d, etc.
It may be in that area. Usually you'll be able to spot a screensaver looking icon.

Easiest way for me is to search the background name with no extension - checking the Advanced Search feature so it finds all the copies.

Windows sometimes makes a duplicate under another path than the original download path & you'll find it as both maybe a .jpg in one folder from the download and .bmp in another.

Thanks. Mikie, that did it. I did a search with the name using Advanced Search including hidden folders, etc. and it found it in C:\Windows as a .bmp file.
