Photobucket web site problem....

I am having a very strange problem with Photobucket. I cannot get into my album or even their main website. I have two computers in my house and cannot connect from either computer. I get the dreaded "The page cannot be displayed."

I can get into the "Photobucket Blog", but when I click on 'HOME' or any thing that should take me to Photobucket, I get the same "The page cannot be displayed" page. It has been almost a week, it seems to be my problem, not Photobucket's problem.

Photobucket is the only web site I am having a problems with. I deleted the temporary files. What else can I check ?

What browser are you using? Have you tried using a different browser?

Are you on dial-up?...that it is timing out?

Sue...on dial-up, using Firefox, and getting in OK

Sue, sorry, I forgot details...

New computer XP two hard drives lot's of every thing needed...Internet Explorer SP2 > On Cable...every thing else working. I don't have a different browser, don't want to change if I can help it.

Been on Photobucket since they opened never had a problem like this. Another strange thing....if I post a picture from my photobucket, it shows, the URLs from Photobucket are working, just can't open the web site.

I've been accessing PhotoBucket frequently this past week and, except for the part where I have to use the old method to upload photos, have had no problems. Certainly not a crash. Others have spoken well of Picasa. Just make the distinction between Picasa which you can download onto your computer for photo management and Picasa on the web. Good luck! Ana

Hi Jeff, You can send me a screen shot and I'll see if I can maybe help. I know P-bucket changed some things a while back and the link I had saved was in a different (not much liked) format, until a clicked on a link. I then saved that new link to my favorites. I hope others will also post, since I may not be of much or any help. I'll email you via GW since you have your setting to show email addy to NO ONE. If you don't get ir (as GW email has not been very reliable in the past) just drop me an email. You can see my email addy on the GW email form. Sue

I had problems the last few days...I had to delete my cookies and cache. Took a few tries because I had Firefox set to NOT allow cookies to be loaded from sites that I had deleted cookies from. Kept blocking the cookies...I also deleted my bookmark and rebookmarked the site again.
