Hand held shower head--what brands? What pieces?
Comments (13)You also need a wall supply. Depending on the handshower you choose, you may also need a separate check valve. I was told in a showroom, that Moen puts their check valves in their handheld shower, so the wall supply doesn't have one. But, you can buy one. Hansgrohe, however, doesn't put one in their handshower, and you can buy a wall supply with or without the check valve (I believe), so you need to make sure you buy the right one. It is okay to have more than one check valve, but you want to make sure you have one....See MoreUsing Shower/Tub handle for Shower/Hand held
Comments (4)Yes, we would have a hand held instead of a tub spout. Today I found the Danze Custom Shower System Design Guide states the "D113000BT valve with trim allows for supplied water to be diverted to either a single tub filler or additional shower components". I can call Danze and ask if a hand held shower qualifies as an "additional shower component" although I don't know why it wouldn't....See MoreHand held shower slide bar placement

Comments (10)Hi dmosunich, I personally use this Waterpik hand-held shower head when the old shower head stopped functioning. It works for my needs. Not fancy by any means but definitely am happy with the multi-spray options that the old fixed shower head could not provide. The criteria for me was that the shower head had to be bigger and wider, and have the ability to detach and have a long enough hose to move freely. This Waterpik fit all of that plus it had multiple spray patterns which was definitely a plus. Can't speak for its durability as it is made of plastic with an exterior metal-like shell (most likely a type of acrylic that looks like metal) but I've had it for about 2 months now and so far so good. Hope this helps. Very Best, Tai Truong Elements of Design 3400 Medford Street Los Angeles, CA 90063 tai@lusivedecor.com www.elementsofdesign.com...See Morebusymombuilder
