Medicine cabinet to sink ratio (RH Cartwright to Kohler Memoir)

Hi - Just picked up a Kohler Memoirs 24" wide pedestal sink (http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/detail.jsp?from=thumb&frm=&module=Lavatories&item=172002&prod_num=2238-1§ion=2&category=16&resultPage=0-815816182) - and would like to purchase the Restoration Hardware Cartwright medicine cabinet - question is whether or not to go with the Large (28" wide) or Small (20.5" wide) style.

While I've seen some lovely photos w/ the Large Cartwright on this forum, they are typically installed over a large furniture-style vanity so the sink size doesn't matter as much. With a small pedestal, I'm guessing the rule of thumb is you don't want the mirror or medicine cabinet to be much wider?

Anyone have photos of mirrors or medicine cabinets that are *wider* than their sinks?

Also, slightly off the topic heading - has anyone successfully installed an electrical outlet inside a pre-made medicine cabinet such as the Cartwright? Just wondering if that would be possible. Thanks!
