I use Thunderbird mail...

I got a popup saying the dictionary had an update so I clicked it.. it deleted ALL my mail folders.. I am very upset but doubt there anything I can do. I lost some things I have saved a long time. The only folders I have left is the sent.. inbox.. delete ones. I don't even know what all I lost.

They are not in the delete folder... Is there ANYTHING I can do? I doubt there is..

I hate updates.. grrrrrrrr

Might try using windows advanced search.
Search for a missing folder name... or just search inbox and then open it in explorer and you'll be very close to seeing what you need.

Outlook Express would sometimes have all mail disappear because you punched the wrong button, but it was still there in a database file and windows started a fresh new database. Maybe you;ll get lucky and Tbird did the same.
