I´d really appreciate some advice. Excuse my english, please:
Ok, I´ve got some new parts for my PC (4 days ago):
Motherboard ASUS K8V-VM [GREEN]
CPU AMD SEMPROM 3000+
Graphics card GeForce 7100 - Zogis (PCI EXPRESS)
The rest of my pc (4 yrs old now):
20 Gigabites Hard Disk IDE
DDR1 128MB 266Mhz , DDR1 256MB 266Mhz
DVD-RW
InstantTV PCI Card
Power source: A400 ATX, Combined 380 W Max, Total output 400W Max
My pc reboots itself, generally with a short freeze before. At first I thought it was an overhear problem by the graphics card (it has no cooler), because the fan gets real hot when I´m playing some games ("The Godfather" game), I also do not have a chasis cooler, and because this always happened when I was playing... but then it happened some other times and the temperature of the GForce and of the CPU was ok, and I even had the side of my pc open and with a ventilator. The whole pc is clean. I have no idea what the problem may be, I supposse it could have something to do with the power... Could it be that the old DDR memory, being only 266Mhz, produces the problem... Or is it too little power for my components? Any other idea? THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Santiago (from Argentina)
