Wondering what a YELLOW Culinarian looks like?

Finally, after a few fits and starts, the range I ordered in March is here. Nevermind that they forgot to ship the backsplash I also ordered. That is tomorrow's issue. For now, I can bask in the glow, literally, of the new range. It is so yellow that the basement walls look yellow in this picture.

" I have it as being self-fruitful?" I would very much expect it to be self-fruitful. This tree is in my backyard where I have 30-35 peach trees, so I can't confirm by experience that it's self-fruitful (since there is ample opportunity for cross pollination) but almost all peach trees are self-fruitful. J.H. Hale, some of it's crosses, and a few of the antique varieties are about the only ones I know of that require a pollenizer.

Oh I hear ya and, frankly.. not really that worried, just wanted to get input and talk CC.. heh. I have spoken to Trevor on the phone and via email and have really "torn into" the reviews and such online. It seems like the best fit for what I want to do. Honestly, I love to cook, but I am not a chef. This is probably way more than I need, but I just love the look and feel of a large stove and when I cook, I always run out of room on the stove due to the large pots and pans. So..I will work this thing as much as I can and have a blast doing it. I realize it is a want and not a need and saving my pennies for it ;) I have no doubt that if I hit a snag, all I have to do is call Trevor and he'll point me in the right direction .. heh Still like to hear any input on where people had to go to see one and how they found or did not find a good tech person. I don't mind having to LOOK to find one, but I sure as heck do not want one learning the ropes on mine :P (one of the places I called said they were training a new guy on stoves.. yea..) Russ

I think it's set up. To make it "phony" they just wouldn't plug that extension cord into a power outlet. Unless they're suicidal, no one is foolish enough to do anything like this. I think they're fools for even posing for this photo. With our litigious society, first time some kid emulates this behavior, the two nuts in the photo could be sued to kingdom come. Rose

Yes - I was wondering what a yellow Culinarian looked like. Thanks for posting the photo. Now you do know that we'll all be looking forward to seeing this beautiful canary in your kitchen.

Just looking at the color makes me curious as to what the rest of the kitchen will look like? A sleek, modern, chrome accented room? A fussy Victorian with lots of oak cabinets and the Culinarian as an accent? A rustic, country cabin where your range replaces the traditional hearth? Black and white? or just black? The possibilities are rather mind boggling.

Please post photos when it's in place. It's so warm and vibrant it almost needs a name.

Thanks for your interest. Maire cate, I posted pictures of the kitchen in progress on the Kitchen Forum site. I have been calling it an Unconventional Kitchen. The kitchen is in a house that has evolved over time. The first two rooms were built in 1785, then addition in 1902, then 1986, then 1994 and now, in 2011. The 2011 changes are starkly modern. The kitchen sits between the old and the new and is quite open. The cupboards are painted several colors - pantry wall is Cosmos blue, the hutch is Chinese red, the base cabinets are two shades of gray, etc, etc. There is a huge stone fireplace with fireboxes that face the kitchen and dining rooms. The countertops are stainless steel, soapstone, and end grain cherry, depending on the area. So it is an eclectic space.

I just got a chance to really look at the range today and I noticed two botches in the enamel inside the oven door. Darn! I will post a pic and seek your advice on how to handle this.
