Thanks! It is a Fraser fir tree. I loved the look of this tree, and my grandma usually gets a Fraser fir also. We went to a tree farm and cut down a 8.5 ft tree for her place and that was a lot of fun! I Bought my tree at Home Depot because there are not really any tree farms around here; but I love the tree I got. I have decorated 5 full sized, 2 medium, and 3 small Christmas trees yet so far this year! I hope everyone is staying warm! :) -SD

I don't where to start, I'm crazy about it all! But especially have to comment on that fantastic Kirklands framed Santa! LOVE! (I absolutely have to go to Kirklands next year and see what Christmas they have...seeing this painting, and then buying the big Santa Nutcracker on Horse from eBay and the just-purchased Santa on Rocking Horse from shopgoodwill, ALL Kirklands!) Then there's your mantel with all the neat shelves...oh boy is that right up my alley! What a great place to decorate! Christmas at your house looks, and sounds, just the way it supposed to be! I've never seen these photos before, Judith, you've created an incredible feeling of "specialness" for all your guests. It's wonderful. I'm sorry to hear of your cancer and will support you with my prayers. Some journeys are just so much harder than others. Thank you Annz for explaning, I hadn't considered either of those scenarios! I just had an epiphany a little while ago in that before I got Jovi for my Daughter, Coco was the be all-end all. My DAU and SIL used to leave a few minutes early for work in the morning to play with her even. I just watched the interaction, or actually lack thereof with my SIL and Coco just now. Dau took Jovi out to do his business before they went out (I puppy sit) and SIL was in the house with Coco. She wanted to play, but his interaction with her was uninterested. She dropped a toy at his feet and he kind of soccer kicked it and then he went outside and left her at the back door to wait for the three of them to come back. I let her out at that point as I felt bad for her. Am I possibly onto something, or grasping at straws? Thanks, Marg

The snow mugs were thrift store finds 25 cents each and the red thingy is a CD holder my husband had in his office laid on it's side. This is the top of our refrigerator

My beautiful Spode Christmas plates. I got 108 pieces at an estate sale for $150. I found another candle holder for 99 cents at a TS.

I used wrapping paper as a sleeve around the flameless candles. "NOEL" sign from TS for 99 cents.

Most of my decorations are from TS, Dollar STore, or things I have had for years that I have taken apart and reworked. I have my theme already picked out for this year and can hardly wait. LET THE DECORATING BEGIN! (Pictures will be posted ... now that I know how!)

Looks like you've got Christmas decorating fever! (even if they're last yr's pics, right!) Yup, you better begin again for 2012! Lots of goodies! We all love thrift shopping on this forum! so sounds like you've done your share!! I am esp lovin' the pic displaying your hubby's gr'm's silver tea set...very pretty on the poinsetta runner & lovely red glassware.

Your Spode dishes are beautiful...I see some once in awhile @TJMaxx & have stopped myself from buying ...since I have Pflatzgraff Winterfrost dishes. But the Spodes are so cheery & cute! Nice find! Jeanne S.

The Spode Christmas plates are plates are so pretty.
They would look nice at my house too.LOL

Love your decor. Good to see that someone else also has the spode collection. What a find at an estate sale(if I had been there I probably would have been having heart palpitations). Sadly, got me to thinking, if(I should say when) I go that is probably where my spode collection will end up. lol

So much fun looking, can't wait to see what you come up with for 2012.

Glad you got to share last year's Christmas pics with us here. WE love pics and thrifting is how we find most of
our goodies.
You have so many nice decorations and gave some great new
ideas (for me)! I like the idea of the wrapping paper on the candles and your snow mugs in the CD shelf is such a cute display. I see so many of those shelves at TS..now I will think differently when I see them.
Thanks for sharing your pics with us.
Will look forward to this year's decorating from you.
