Christmas decorating craft stores online?

Sorry to be such a pest. The irony is I've seen what I want before a 100 times, and now I can't find it online!

For the two topiaries I decided to take the suggestion of adding some red/holly berry sprays, and wrap the pots in a big red ribbon.

I don't want to drive 30min. to Hobby Lobby to buy them, so does anyone know of a good and inexpensive website where I can order the sprays and ribbons?

I've found some sprays but gosh they're expensive! I've checked a lot of Silk flower websites but can't find what I'm looking for.

Any ideas?

Don't Hobby Lobby and Michaels have online ordering now? I'd also check Amazon.com. I do know for certain that Joann's Fabrics has great stuff that you can order online. If you register with them (online), they email you their weekly sale flier and it usually includes both online and store coupons, as well. I'd probably try them first, Oakleyok.

With all the sales right now, it might be worth the drive to go get stuff. I doubt small stuff like this won't all be shown online, and so many choices to choose from. Walmart usually is another option for these things.

Thanks Luvs. But I don't think Hobby Lobby has online stores. I've checked and checked over the past year and I don't think they go there. Joanne's was okay, I ordered some inexpensive decor, but she didn't have what I was looking for. Amazon had the artificial snow I needed, and some crystal pieces to put in vases and such.

And then there are the cinnamon dough ornaments. We made these at a Sernior Center a couple of times. Easy to do and nice results. Just make sure you have a variety of cookie cutters and ribbon and some paints Preferably white for a frosting look Ingredients: 3/4 - 1 cup (cheap) applesauce One 4.12oz bottle ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon of white glue (the school kind) Tools needed: Rolling pin or a glass Cookie cutters Straw or toothpick Wire rack Method: Combine the applesauce, cinnamon and glue to form a stiff dough. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with a cookie cutter. Make a hole for a ribbon with a straw. Place on a wire rack and let dry for several days, turning occasionally. A Waxed paper lined box can be used to tote home and they keep (dried out) for years and smell good every year.

I have never heard of Oregano oil. How much and how often? Does it have to be tomato juice or can I use something else? I will have to check it out. Im not too sure on the stinging nettle. I wanted to try tumeric formy chronic pain but not sure how to use it. And now Im thinking of black cohosh for other things. These allergies/sinusitus/menopause symptoms are killing me plus my chronic pain. . I just want to feel normal again. If I didnt color Id prob be going out of my mind. Thank you Amy! Oh did I mention my daughter finally graduated cosmetology school in nov. so no more 14 hr days with the grandbaby. And Im finally getting days off. And she finally gave me a decent haircut after about 4 times of messing my hair up. She did what she was told to do and correctly followed directions. (usually cutting too short or giving me layers when I told her no ..lol)Yay.

Hancock Fabrics via Michael's Craft Stores

I don't think this is left over fabric. There were two Hancock's stores fairly close to me and they sold to the walls in the "going out of business sale". There was nothing left you would want to buy a month before they actually closed. For those who are not familiar, Hancock's was a fabric company based in Mississippi (I think it was MS, but it was the south for sure). About 40 years ago, it was an outlet type fabric store. You could find some buys, but you had to dig through a lot to find it. When I took up quilting, they didn't seem so much like an outlet store anymore. They carried fabric, hobby merchandise and small decorating items. Their fabric was mid-priced. Most were private label goods with few brand names. I would say they were comparable to what Joann's was a few years ago. (I think JoAnn's quality has improved in some areas lately.) So, basically, I'm guessing Michael's bought the name, not inventory. bkay

Our Walmart supercenter stopped selling crafts. HL and Michaels don't have an online store yet, maybe they will in the future?

But I've seen the berry sprays many many times, and now that I need them I can't find them! lol That always happens to me. I'm also searching for some Apothecary Jars and wouldn't you know it, there's hardly any to be had...or they're either too tall, too short or too expensive. :)

I have a lot of silk flower stores in my Favorite Places, but it's just a matter of finding exactly what I want.

Joann Fabrics has both things that you are looking for, and they are both on sale! Would you like me to send them to you???? It 'twould be very easy for me to do, and also give me agood excuse to go by there :^)

Thanks J, but I just now found THE perfect online craft store! I looked at Joann's and she didn't have what I really wanted.

What I like about online stores like this one is they have so many choices, more than a Hobby Lobby would. Our HL isn't all that either. :(

Since I last posted I ordered an Apothecary Jar (inexpensive and the right size) and found this website to help me decorate it. They also have a lot of Christmas things to decorate with, all at low prices.

They're out of California and have a picture of their store. It's beautiful!

Glad you found an online craft store you like, oakleyok, but I'll post this anyhow as I've found many good ideas here. Have never ordered as I don't order online but they have craft ideas and instructions that are helpful.
