Fall Table Settings

Is everyone ready to start posting their fall table settings? I know some have already done some. Should we put them all in one post like we did for Halloween?

I don't have much for fall, but can pull a few "almost" picture worthy tables together.

Wow everybody! The tablescapes are awesome. I'm gone for a couple of days and now I'm waaaaay behind. There's tons to read and look at.

You know that line from The Godfather that goes something like, "Every time I think I'm free, they pull me back in"? Well, every once in a while, I get pulled out of retirement and back to work. I have a part-time consultant job that runs hot and cold and now it's hot. It's so hot right now that, in addition to the normal work week, I had to put in lots of hours on Saturday and Sunday as well. I really want to close up shop, but can't bring myself to turn work down so close to the holidays. Plus, whining is just a bit ungracious, considering how many people are without jobs these days.
At any rate, I haven't had time to locate all my fall decor yet, so I will have to play Catch Up for a little while.
I am enjoying all your creations however.
I have been eyeing the covered pumpkin and acorn dishes and I can see that God meant me to have a set too. So it won't be long before I visit the appropriate stores and pick up a few.
I also like the leaf dishes - especially the ones that have a little depth to them. I've got them on my list too.
Yachter, like the salad plates. And Luvs, your little leafy votive holders are sweet. Hey, Luvs, where'd you find the acorns you sent Kathleen?

Vertical pear salad! That's so interesting. I figure it doesn't really have to taste good. The look of it alone trumps the rest of the meal. I googled the recipe, as I am definitely going to serve this next time I have my teacher-friends over for lunch. Kathleen, does this sound like yours?
    Vertical Pear Salad
    - 4 smooth skinned pears (whatever that means... aren't they all smooth?)
    - 2-3 cups water cress (depending on how much salad you want)
    - 1/2 cup toasted pecans (I see you used walnuts, right?)
    - 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
    - vinagrette dressing (your choice: raspberry vinagrette?.)
    - honey
    - lemon juice
    - Cut pears horizontally into four slices each. Use a knife to cut out the cores so the pieces look like donuts. Leave the stem on the top piece. Brush lemon juice on each cut side of the pieces.
    - Toss the pecans, blue cheese, water cress, and dressing until coated.
    - Reassemble the pear, vertically, with the watercress salad in between each slice. Once assembled, Drizzle with honey.

OK, everyone. Got to go back to work. Don't you guys have too much fun without me.

Karen...just caught up w/my reading here, and I'm sorry that I confused you with someone else's table...I've got to give the credit to Luvs...it was her table that I was complimenting...Sorry. I guess you can call it a case of 'Brain Fog'..lol

Kathleen..I agree with OA that vertical pear salad is interesting and looks good too. I'm always amazed by the dinners you prepare each nite plus how you present it all. I like the brown & white combo and agree that your basket is lovely.

When to set out greens for fall/winter?

Fall veggies is always challenging for me in Ohio, thou I keep trying different ways. Any hints? Brassicas don't really have enough time/sunlight to produce fully if planted in September, but the plants grow poorly in August heat and are usually devastated by bugs in August. I planted three Cauliflower in August and they literally lost all of their leaves to bugs, just the stems left, but started new growth in September and finally look like proper plants now... maybe I'll get something in November. Planted 3 Packman Broccoli plants around Labor Day... they are growing fine, hopefully I'll get something edible. Lettuce seems like a waste of time IMO. Seedlings grow awful in August, grow better in September but much weaker than May lettuce. I've never grown fall Lettuce that was not bitter. I did plant 3 small Red Romaine transplants around Labor Day this year, and hopefully they will be large enough to eat before November. My plants have been somewhat shaded by Peppers and Beans. Tried some White Icicle Radishes that I planted in the second week of September. They are growing but rather weak, not vigorous like Spring plantings, but the plants have been somewhat shaded by older garden plants that are going soon. See if I get some edible radishes.

Your decorations all look so nice! I don't have that gene, but I sure do admire it in others. Sueb, that's cute. My pilates teacher recently bought a small skeleton and loves, loves to show us which areas of our bodies we're working at the moment.

I have also been away for a few days visiting our DD in the big city and now am WAY BEHIND on all the wonderful posts. I especially like this one and having all the Fall Tables together on one thread is terrific.

Kathleen, I am amazed everytime I see the effort you put into your everyday dinners! Your daily tablesettings are so fun to look at, each one unique. I also think it is wonderful how you actually USE all the stuff you buy on a regular basis - you can really justify it that way. Thanks also for explaining your "set-up" on how you store your seasonal dishes in a handy way. (Would love to see the "DH Wonder-Land" in your basement lol!). Of the tablescapes you posted on this thread, my fav is the latest Acorn one, but that may be just because it was a nice change from the ones of late, the brown and white looks so calming after oranges. Then again, I like how you made green/burgundy look fallish too - oh, I just like them ALL!!

Sandi, your Acorn table is also terrific. I like the colour combo you used as well and it goes so nicely with the leaf print on your tablecloth.

Yachter, your vignette and tablescape are lovely. I really like your placemats & runner. I have never really gotten into plaids but seeing yours makes me think I might need some. Your salad plates with the individual prints on each one are great too.

Tam, your tablesetting should be in a magazine! (You take great pics!) I was in love with it when I first saw it on your blog. I love how you tied in the rooster with the colours as well as your white pumpkin bowls.

Luvs, your black & orange table is so striking. I'm in agreement with Judith, and love using black on tablescapes to add drama. It is so interesting to see all the different shapes/colours/sizes of pumpkin bowls people have - love yours!

I have already posted this fall tablescape but I enjoy how you have lots of pics on this thread, so thought you might like to see it again.

I had to send Kathleen more acorn stuff because I had made such a point of telling her they were the HOT item this year!

Haven't all of you seen acorns on everything lately? I've not really noticed them any other year. They are on plates, potholders, napkins, towels, bowls, etc.--you name it. And they are just so cute!

OA, I found a good sized box of those acorns at Home Goods. I sure love the ones Sandi has with the glitter on them too, as well as all the acorn shaped dishes and other acorns on the rest of these tables posted on here.

Jane, not to worry, I knew you had confused Karen and I on that table--no big deal, I get those moments quite frequently too. Glad you liked my tablescape.

DD, I'm glad you added your table on this post too. Isn't it fun to have them all in one post to browse through for inspiration and just the pure fun of it?

Kathleen, I love your leaf bowl, and the two crows in it just make me smile. Those acorn bowls are so cute, and I like the deeper ones too so you can really use them for food. Your food always looks so good, I am amazed at the variety of your meals as well as your pretty dishes.

Isn't it just great having a whole group of ladies and Jim to share our "creativity" with? You are right, the Internet has made things lots more fun.

YES! OA and DD are back...the rest of us missed you!

Yes,OA, the recipe is from Better Homes and Gardens, Oct 2008 issue. I used baby spinach, chopped red onion, walnuts, crumbled bacon and feta instead of what they said.
A tip...mark the front of each slice with a toothpick , it helps when you are trying to put it back together correctly!

Jane, I just thought the same thing. Getting tired of the Fall colors...a few more weeks though! I am getting itchy to start Christmas, not beause I want to rush it, just because it takes me so long to get it all done! But that won't start till after Tgiving...so much to do!

And yes, I have to USE my things. My mom had so much, and as she got older didn't use them. So if I want to keep them, I'd better use them!

Luvs the acorns are from CTS, you can bake in them too. I have leaves in green like them, handy for indiv portions of things. Your acorns were just perfect !! Thank you again!

Wow, Kathleen. Your version of the acorn table is great! I saw similar acorn plates at Ross but they only had 2 of them. :( It is fun seeing everybody's tables and dishes and all the great ideas. I would love to see that basement of yours too! The pear looks fantastic - nice presentation. I took a pic of my dinner last night but mine looks far too simple compared to all the ones you post.

DD - I was thinking your table should get added on here too. Those bowls are so great.

Anybody interesetd, Crate&Barrel has white pumpkin bowls at a great price online. But, you have to pay shipping. LOL.

So here is my simple table - dinner was acorn squash stuffed with Moroccan style couscous and chocolate chip cookie later. :) There is a little hand carved chicken in the centerpiece thats is supp to be the focal point but is not coming up in the pics well.

Mo, love the colours in your tablescape and the ambiance created by the candles and lighting, looks so cozy! Your little rooster napkin rings are cute and I like the leaf design on your placemats. Your centerpiece looks much more "filled in" than VERY FIRST one you posted and looks great. Did someone special to you carve the little chicken?

dd...I remember your tablescape..and loved the intimate and elegant setting. Your colors are so rich and different..
I'm glad you posted it here again..

Mo..I agree w/DD..I love the colors and the warmth that the candles' glow gives to everything. I like the natural elements that you added to your centerpiece..Also, are those placemats a woven rattan? By the way, your acorn squash...looks yummy!!

Okay...so here's my simple attempt with, once again, what I have..be kind.

DD, thanks! Notice I got leaves, finally!! :) No, the chicken is not that personal to me - somebody gave it to me. Its just a cool looking piece that usually resides on my mantle. LOL.

Slinkey, love your table. Like the gourds and the ducks. And of course, your centerpiece. I want those goblets! I have to come to the point where I can recognize people's tables by the style on here - I think that means I am browsing too much! Everybody has such an individual style, its amazing.

Yes, the placemats are woven something or the other - I got those and the napkin rings on my recent shopping binge - both from Pier-1 75% off! Woohoo!

    Mo

Slinkey, that centerpiece is so pretty.
and gosh, now I'm liking PLAID after this thread and photos of tables with it. (First you Pinkies get me, then the orange sort of snuck up on me this year and looked nice.
Now its plaid ! For Pete's sake, I suppose Yellow will be next. Arrgghhh.)

    hugs, Karen

Love the plaid, Jane! Pretty setting! I need amber stems...but I am not paying a lot for them. I am on the hunt. Your covered bowl is so pretty!

Mo yours is very nice...May I borrow your salt and pepper shakers, I could make them into candy corn for next year!
Love the candles, very nice ambience..

I'm really liking all these pretty fall plaids this year too. They are just so soft and pretty, and you can pull so many colors from them for accessorizing.

Mo, I really like the leaf pattern in your placemats, and those rooster napkin rings are great. Candlelight always adds so much to the atmosphere too.

Jane, your table looks very warm and inviting too. I really like the design in your charger or bottom plate. Nice centerpiece too.

For those of you looking for that type of goblet, I saw some of the gold ones at Walmart yesterday for $3.50 each. I have to say that Walmart had things everywhere, allot of the Fall things were on a back isle, not up where the plates and florals usually are. Guess they wanted to tempt me no matter which isle I took! LOL

OA, It's nice to hear from you and know that everything is going well for you. Extra money is always nice, but it seems to be even nicer during the holidays. I know exactly how you feel about the little covered pumpkin & acron bowls. I just KNOW I'm meant to have some also, and hopefully I'll have found some as gorgeous as everyone else's by next year.

dining_delight, I'm so glad you posted your tables on this thread. It is so great to be able to scroll through and see everyone's beautiful tables. I love your color combination and how wonderful to have it set at a small table for two. Everything is so pretty.

Luvs, My glittered acorns aren't acorns. They're pecans. I haven't found any of the little acorns this year and I found the glittered pecan idea online and used it.

Kathleen, I not only want to see your "Wonderland", I want to shop there too! It would be wonderful to have my very own wonderland to shop in. ;~) Our Walmarts don't have the amber stems like I thought. They have brownish ones that match their plates. They are very pretty though and only $2 each.

Mo, I love your table. I can't see your little chicken very well, but the whole centerpiece is very pretty. I would like to know more about your tall candle. And I love baked acorn squash, but I've never had it with your recipe. I will have to try that. Love your rooster napkin rings also.

Slinkey, You don't ask to ask anyone to be kind. Your table deserves compliments. Your gourds are so pretty and I love the way you used your wooden pedelstal with the basket. Very original. And of course, your amber stems and plaids. Very, very pretty.

Karen, Oh my. You and I must buy some yellow. I'm seeing it online everywhere and I so want some.

I could not get a good pic of this table. The colors are so washed out. The green of the cloth is almost as dark as the green stems. And no, I didn't use a flash! LOL

I bought 2 of the same tablecloths and cut one up to make the tablerunner, napkins and napkin rings. I made the runner way too short and have plenty to make another. I love the colors on the trim of the cloth that you can just see at the bottom of the pic and on the napkin rings. And I'm disappointed that the green with purple swirls place cards don't show the colors.

Green & purple are my DS's favorite colors so I will be setting this table again one night during Thanksgiving week. Not that he really cares about my tables, but he is always sweet enough to compliment me.

Thanks guys. Candlelight hides all the ugly stuff. :) But, I was trying to use Mary Ruth and Judith's tips about taking pics without flash.

Kathleen - thats a great idea. I got them at the Japanese dollar store here.

Sandi, I get so many ideas everytime you post a table pic. I like the napkin ring you made. And I love the eggplant purple shade you have going on. Thats a nice combo.

It looks like I need to start buying table cloths - after seeing all you guys' lovely tables where the table cloth ties everything together.

    Mo

Sandi, that is a very pretty table. I love your purple dishes and we know Karen will too! You must be finding some great bargains on tablecloths, and they are all very pretty. Great trick using the pecans and making them look like acorns! Luvs

    Sandi,
Very sharp! Like how you were able to see that you could convert one table cloth into three additional coordinating items. I'll have to start thinking like that. By the way, don't sell yourself short in the Family Table Appreciation Department (especially in the Son Category). For the most part, the males in my family don't emote much, but I KNOW they like it. Just let me "forget" to put something out during a holiday and they're asking about it. So, they do notice. Which, I guess you really knew anyway.

Ladies, I like plaid, so I'm enjoying all the plaid set-ups.

Sinkey, Sandi's right. No need to worry about the reviews. I'd love to sit down to a meal at your table. It's put together very well.

Kathleen, you can't have those salt and pepper shakers. I need them a lot more than you do. My Wonderland is, well, just a couple of Wonder-Boxes.

Thanks, everybody, for all your pictures.

Mo, I've never heard of a Japanese dollar store. I would love to shop in one though. Luvs, I bought the tablecloths over a year ago and they were a pretty good price ($6 each) at Old Time Pottery. I love table linens and wish I had a lot more. And thank you ladies for the nice words.

Sandi...I love the last table you posted. The colors are gorgeous together and so different. The dishes are so pretty. You are a gal after my own heart..I love how you used an extra tablecloth to make so many coordinating pieces. Now that's original!! Also, thanks for your nice compliments..

mo, Thank you..and I agree, that you really can start to identify everyone's style here after awhile. It's fun noticing that too.

Karen..I agree that plaid IS in and certainly can grow on you...there are so many things to go with it to mix and match...Thanks for your nice comments.

    Kathleen...Thank you....those goblets..ONLY $2 at Kohls on clearance..The only problem..They had ONLY 2 left..but I happily snapped them up!!

    luvs..Thank you..that charger/plate was a purchase several
yrs ago at Marshalls on clearance $1 ..I use it every now and then to put on top of that pedestal tray..I thought it would look nice under that plate..too bad I only have one.

OA..glad you're back..you were missed..I've got the table still set...so you're welcome to drop by anytime!! lol..and thank you

    jane

Jane, here is me not being "kind" but truthful when I say, your table is terrific. I really like the ducks (I need to get more of that type of ornament rather than always candle holders!) and I like how you added to your compote bowl to give it a tiered effect. Your plaid tablcloth is very pretty and fall-ish. Everythings looks wonderful!

Sandi, purple and green are wonderful together and you have done a great job making them into a fall tablescape.Your dishes are such pretty colours and go well together. I love how you fold your napkins, nice touch. Using artichokes and avocadoes (or are those limes?) for your centerpiece ties in the green nicely!

sighing over the purple table setting....
I have no purple dishes, what on earth is wrong with me?
Oh that's right, I didn't buy many dishes (or do table-settings) till I landed here. Now I have the dish-bug and its apparently incurable.

    hugs, Karen

Thank you again ladies for your nice words. I don't have very many "original" ideas and cutting up a tablecloth for napkins wasn't original either. ;~)

I hope everyone isn't too tired of fall tablesettings as I have a couple more I'll be doing before Thanksgiving.

dd..thanks again for your compliments... Glad you noticed that I 'perched' my iron bird basket on top of my Compote..I was looking for something different to do w/it rather than always putting fruit or a cake plate on it. Glad you 'honestly' liked everything...lol

sandi..Bring them on..love to see more. It gets everyone 'fired up' with inspiration. I love all your creative ideas.

This is a table I posted about a year ago with a few changes. Jaybird gave me the perfect tablecloth, Kathleen gave me the napkin rings & napkins & DH gave me the red stems. I made the little hanging roosters for the napkin rings & just noticed I forgot to attach it to the napkin ring. I also forgot to light the candles. I always forget that when I set the table so early in the day.

And these are the little rooster wine charms I made. So simple.

Oops, I forgot to say that I love the beaded napkin rings Kathleen gave me. And the rooster napkins have a brighter colored rooster with a deep blue on 2 other corners. Thank you Kathleen for thinking of my rooster table.

And...this week's flyer from Old Time Pottery has a set of blue dishes with reddish roosters. I told DH I just have to have them.

Wow, Sandi, they are both great! I had trouble getting on this site yesterday for some reason, so I am late to post.
I love the purple and green, sooo pretty! And you now I need purple or lav dinner plates, as I have bowls and salads with that color . Where did you find them??
I love the tablecloth and napkins and rings! And the green stems too!
The rooster table is something to crow about! It all works perfectly and the tablecloth really pops! The red stems look great too, all the little touches are perfect! And the silverware too! Great tables, both of them!

Sandi...I love this table too. You just 'churn' them out so easily and they are all so lovely. I love the Rooster Theme. Everything works together well. The colors in the tablecloth, your plates and red stems, plus napkins are simply beautiful..not to mention your beautiful centerpiece. I like all your rooster accessories too. Geesh..there was a time I was a rooster freak..now I'm sorry I got rid of them. Seeing your lovely table setting is so inspiring.
    jane

Sandi - Another table that looks completely put together. The silverware you have is very nice and unique. Everything works so well together!

And the rooster dishes are very cute. As much as I love the rooster dishes, I think I can safely admire your setting without going and buying them (everytime I see these lovely tables, I end up buying something!!) because DH has very firmly told me that he would really lose his appetite if he had to eat chicken out of a plate that had cute little chicken on them! :) Or for that matter, any animals.

And the japanese dollar stores are only on the west coast, it looks like. Everything is written in japanese on the dishes and so on - but its not truly $1 for things though.

Kathleen, I bought the purple and green dishes at Old Tyme Pottery abt 1 1/2 yrs ago.

And thank you ladies. I never wanted roosters until a couple of years ago. I still only have one wooden one (my mother gave it to me a long time ago) that is visible anywhere in the house except when I set a rooster table. Jane, some tables come pretty easy and some I never seem to get right. Those are the ones no one ever sees. LOL

Mo, I am not into roosters either. But I have grown to like them seeing the gals here with their dishes!

But I know what you mean, this place makes you want to go out and buy dishes of every color and design, and then the mats, napkins, etc. The only thing I have resited is the silverware...but if I caught a batgain on some colors, I think I would go for it!

Clap, clap, clap. That's applause for you Miss Sandi. Your rooster table is pulled together so well. Gosh, I love it all. You sure pulled the colors from the tablecloth out in all your accessories. And you have the little roosters everywhere--in the centerpiece, on the napkin, on the napkin ring, on the wineglass, and even on the bowl. Very very nice. No Old Tyme Pottery here either, but I remember how you were always finding such great bargains there! Luvs

Sandi, another great table. I agree with everyone's comments on it. And although there are roosters throughout your table, they are subtle and not overboard, looks great. The other terrific thing about your table is those who had a hand in helping you design it, Kathleen, Jaybird and your DH - a real team effort!

    DD

Thank you Luvs & DD. I've enjoyed seeing everyone's tables and playing with some of my own. I have two more that I want to do before Thanksgiving. Just having fun.

This isn't a table....I am just keeping the thread warm till Sandi gets back with another creation..
    This was just dinner..

Fettucini and chicken ...a new recipe I tried, and won't make again! Lots of work, making whole wheat bread crumbs, grinding fresh chicken, etc..and just so so!

And can you think of a setting to use these napkins?? I have had them for 25 yrs. Used them every year for bosses day at school. The principal's always got a kick out of them...:)
    {{gwi:1448950}}

    correction..principals..no apostrophe...sorry!

I like your 'warmer' setting kathleen!! The green and white looks so nice and crisp and cheerful. Nice to see a different color scheme. Love the little chicken napkin holders. Your chicken dish looks really good..too bad it wasn't worth the work though. I think your boss would have gotten along w/mine in the good nature dept. Those napkins are really cute. There must be some occasion you can use them for..know anyone 'bossy'? lol
    jane

Kathleen, how sweet of Luvs to send you acorns. And you made a lovely table with them as neat little accents. My favorite part (besides the pear, the chicken marsala, the acorn bread, and the acorn butter pats!) are the cute little crows in your centerpiece.
I hate crows here. They are always eating all of the birdseed and leave empty birdfeeders for the other poor birds. But I can handle yours. And the basket is darling.

DD, I remember seeing your intimate table when you posted it before and showing Alfred your beautiful,deep,jewel-toned accents. Love the color of your candles. And not 1 but 2 different sets of pumpkin bowls!

Mo, What a romantic atmosphere you've made with all of the candlelight. I love the platter of light, not to mention the yummy looking acorn squash!

Jane, I love everything. Starting with the landscaping out of the window, the wrap-around porch, the unobstructed windows letting in all of the natural light, the unusual stacking centerpiece, your pet geese and gorgeous soup tureen, the carpet that would look so good in my livingroom.
I could go on,but I have to tell you I was looking at your post and DH looked over and said, "I love those chargers".
    And I do too!

Sandi, I've got to show your post to my DD. She is crazy about anything purple, and that table is soooo pretty. I especially like the way you used the artichoke and avocado in your centerpiece. And your rooster table is special because of the gifts from loved ones. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who forgets to light the candles before taking the picture!

Kathleen, your napkins made me chuckle--if my DH would sit at the table to eat a meal, I'd borrow a couple since he keeps telling me "He's the boss". I think he is just trying to convince himself, since it sure doesn't work on me. LOL There is an annual Boss' Day I think, or they would work for a "self esteem" theme as long as they could ignore the small circle.

Your dinner sure looked yummy, sorry you were disappointed with it. The green is refreshing too, and looks so nice and crisp with your white plates.

Here is another one of my simple tables. I bought the plate and candlestand the gourd is standing on from the $store. I made the napkins and placemats and all the fabric gourd things last year. Not much else to list! LOL..

Mo, Your table is very pretty. I love the fabric gourds & pumpkins you made. And the place mats are really cute with the different fabrics you used. That's an idea I want to "borrow" for sure.
The little ceramics? look really cute sitting on the salad plates. And don't you just love those swirly glass plates? I like your DIY pedestal plate also.

Mo..very pretty table. I agree w/luvs..you are very talented. I like the combination of things you have on your table. I really enjoy seeing what others actually create. I like the way you mixed the fabrics for the place mats and your napkins. Nice job.

Sandi - I was on a patchwork craze last year and stuffed things the year before that! :)

Jane - I know what you mean. I love to see things people make too.

Luvs - Thank you. I wish I could paint like you do. I have seen some of your projects and they look so great!

    Thanks

Since hubby and I are spending our first Thanksgiving apart since our wedding (just a quirky course of events), IÂm purposely avoiding the usual Thanksgiving décor and leaving the pilgrim decorations to the two families that will be hosting us at opposite ends of the state. I just couldnÂt bring myself to pull out all the turkey stuff with no one to cook for and then put it all away to start Christmas.

So whatÂs the fall theme? Football, of course!

Dozens and dozens of long-time football rivalries, big and small, are traditionally played the weekend before Thanksgiving. Those in New Haven have simply titled the event The Game (Harvard vs. Yale). Here on the west coast weÂve dubbed it Big Game (Stanford vs. Cal). No matter who you favor, my tableÂs ready!

Fancy food is forbidden. ItÂs grilled bratwurst, buns, condiments, cabbage slaw, baked beans, pickles, relishes, chips, dip, and cold beer.

    Stand for the kick-off.

OA, I love your football table. Boy, you got it all together. And that tablecloth is the perfect finishing touch. Love the goal posts and place card holders and the little footballs in the centerpiece too. Your menu sounds delicious too.

So sorry to hear that you & DH will not be having Thanksgiving dinner together this year, but the two families hosting the two of you will surely enjoy having you with them. I hope you both have a great Thanksgiving.

That's a special table, and one the men will surely love too! What cute bowls and things, and as Sandi says, the tablecover is so perfect for the whole setup. Even the bottle opener has little footballs on it! And the centerpiece is perfect--I love that you tucked the book in there. Great job on it all, you didn't miss a detail!

Maybe the two of you can have a "before" or "after" special turkey dinner together. Sorry you have to be apart that day.

OA..I agree w/all such a nice themed table. I know many men who would love that setting. Those dishes and accessories are so cute. I like how you incorperated the Fall Centerpiece w/the book and goal posts. Very clever.
Sorry you're apart too and hope you enjoy a wonderful day w/others.
