Help me design a front door and entry for this house, please

We are building a Georgian home, all brick, and trying to make it look relatively historical. One of the features of our house is an ante room, basically a small air lock room between the exterior door and the foyer of the house. At this point I am trying to design the front door (deciding between spiderweb transom and sidelights or spiderweb transom, no sidelights, but a pedimented surround with attached columns). Anyway, one thing I'd love help with is what to do about the door from the ante room into the foyer, should it also have a transom and sidelights so you can see through them into the ante room and look nice, or do it really simple and just have a plain door. I need to decide this relatively soon as we are trying to work through our budget. Any comments on all of this would be so helpful, thanks!
