Question involving IWon.com

Today when I went to this site, and yes I know it is not a good one, but do get some email on it, after I signed it AVAST stopped it immediately to tell me that a Trojan horse (I think that is the name) had been detected and it quarantined it) I cannot get in my mail. I don't want to open anything involving this web site because I don't want anything to get into my computer. I asked hubby if I should delete it and maybe later reinstall it if needed? He wasn't sure.

Question, should I just delete IWon.com and not use it at all?

Iwon.com is a website. How would you delete it? Did you install something from there?

I have had this site for years, don't know where I got it. Did use it as a email address before I got my others. Some of my relatives still use to to either send those dumb jokes or send me a how are you two line message but give you no information. I have given them another email to use, but they just don't want to change. There must be some way to elimate it.

Your fertilizer sounds fine. Many of us use liquid fertilizers in containers with no problem. I agree with jopparich that it would be better if you use a potting mix and not soil in a set up like that, but if it has good drainage, it should be fine with regular use of your fertilizer mix according to directions on the container.

I am going to assume you did a data backup before upgrading from 10 to 11. It appears to me that you are attempting an overwrite. Have you given any thought to deleting 10 and any remnants of 11 followed by a clean install of 11? This would then be followed by an importing of the data from your backup media. When you are uninstalling have you tried REVO set to Advanced? I have been using Quicken for years and I have never had a concern when upgrading to a new version using the above protocol. In any application unless mandated by the manufacturer I do not support an overwrite. DA

Purrus, we had a very similar problem in the kitchen of a house we recently built. Long story short, some cabs needed to be removed and rebuilt to achieve symmetry. Based on GW advice, we did what sailorgirl did, except the narrow cabinet that filled up the "extra" space on the wider side of the range was made into a tall pull out pantry rather than just a narrow cabinet that was otherwise identical to the rest. I know a tall pull-out won't work for you, but just a thought, maybe consider making the narrow cab otherwise decorative or distinct...maybe with a glass-fronted door, or even making it open shelving. It just helps set it apart design-wise from the other doors on both sides of the range which will now be identical in size, it's a chance to have an accent cabinet.

Not enough information. Depending on just what the intent of the "isolation" transformer and how it's windings are wired, would indicate which (if any) termianls should become the grounded one on the far side of the transformer.

you should really really stay away from that site it has a very bad reputation. It is a RED listed WOT site if you were using WOT as I recommend everyone do you would not be able to go to the site it would be blocked. Just to see how bad it is here is their WOT report card, 9 pages of complaints and many are about malicious content and trojans

Not to mention that site is listed at malwaredomain which should mean do NOT go there.
I can not imagine anything worthwhile that would make me risk it.

I would run an updated malwarebytes scan immediately.

In addition I would urge you to go to the WOT score card page and rate it yourself and provide the info about the trojan that it put on your pc, that is how we learn about sites and can help others learn. If you do not have WOT please consider getting it for all your browsers.

Thanks, but I did run Malwarebytes and I do have WOT. I still would like to know how to get rid of this program. I can go to WOT, and try to put in the information.

You still need to explain what you mean by "get rid of this program." If you mean simply deleting the bookmark, that's one thing. But if you mean you installed something from that site and it is running on your computer, that's another thing.

I apparently installed it many years ago and it was pretty good. Now with this virus, I would like to uninstall the program. AVAST quaranteed the trojan virus.

On one of my older computers with "WOT" installed on it I have "myIwon.com as a home page. It shows up with a good rating.I've had that home page for years. I don't play any of the games. I know if you go to Iwon.com Wot won't let you go.

I think I might know what you are meaning. I'm guessing that you registered with them, maybe at my.iwon.com . I don't know how to un-register though.

I see that my.iwon.com has a green WOT rating. You might try going into your profile there, if you have one there, and set things so you will no longer get emails from them.
