Rarely do I use Yahoo Messenger, but I tried today. I could not open Yahoo Messenger, so I went to the Yahoo webpage. I notice there that they had a newer version than what I had.....so I downloaded the newer version. Accidently, I also got the Yahoo Toolbar, but I finally got that removed. During the download, it asked me if I wanted to "unblock" Yahoo Messenger and I answered, "yes". I thought that was a bit strange. I didnt know it was blocked. After the download, I tried to open Messenger. The Yahoo Messenger console opens, but the abruptly closes. I am wondering if something is blocking it.

I am using Microsoft Security Essentials for my protection. Could that be blocking my Yahoo Messenger?

I hope that someone will give me some suggestions on where to look for this problem.
