Have you tried Windows Explorer?

You should be able to use Windows Explorer. RIGHT click Start, click Explore or Windows Explorer depending on your Windows operating system.

In the new window click the plus sign beside C: in the left side
Click the plus sign beside Program files in the left side
Click the plus sign beside the HP folder in the left side

Now you should see all the sub folder inside the HP folder listed underneath and one of those will likely be holding your photos.
Click on that folder to highlight it and all the contents now appear in the right side of your screen.

Assuming you want them all click on the top photo, hold down the Shift key and tap the End key to highlight everything. RIGHT click anywhere on the highlighted data and click Copy.

Now look near the top on the left side and you see your My Pictures folder, RIGHT click on it and click Paste in the pop up. Done.

Note you could use cut and paste but as these are photos and if lost they are gone forever i like to copy and paste. Then I can return and delete them in the old folder if I wish. To me that is easier than digging stuff out of the recycle bin.

Thanks. I tried using WEX, but had no luck. At least, I can find my pics. Think I need more practice!

So, basically you want to move photos from one location on your computer to another, right? Or am I missing something? If you're just wanting to move stuff around, it's the same cut and paste procedure as with any files. If you can't make it happen using owbist's instructions above, I suggest you have a friend show you.

I use photosmart for yrs. now...just save as: to where ever you want them to go...easy peasy
