Those hats are adorable. I definitely would have picked those up. :(
I have to laugh, we frequent the same places... I was also in Home Goods & Michaels!! Those napkin rings are cute and a great price. I did NOT see those felt Pumpkin Mats.. you scored again!
Love your hydrangea wreath. The colors are just beautiful.
Those are the one flowers I love so much, and can't grow, for the life of me. I got 2 Flowers this year, from 3 Bushes!! Go Figure.

I bought some of those LED candles, the scented ones. I got the cream colored ones. I went back today to get the colored ones..but they were whiped out.
I bought some Christmas Bells...Two Halloween Sticker books for the 2 youngest Gkids. Acorn napkin rings..$1 Each.
Two acorns...one large, one small, in the Gold Leaf finish.
2 White Ceramic Turkeys..4 Black Chargers with scalloped edges. The edges were painted gold, but I had DH spray paint them Black Lacquer. They were marked down $l each. Halloween socks for my Gdaughter. Two candle night lights. I had bought them last year and I really liked them. They have an on and off switch. That's about it. I guess there really wasn't anything too new this time to go crazy for. I'm sorry I didn't see those nesting dishes..those are really cute.
How about you? Anything else you're holding back on????

How cute those little nesting witches hat bowls are--and you got them for a great price too! I love the little candy corn bowl too--did you get more than one of them? And what a great deal on the napkin ring/placecard--elegant and fun.

Jane, I wanna see the acorn things you bought for sure. Love those little acorns. I've kinda been keeping my eyes open for them when I'm out shopping. I need to get back over to Homegoods and down to our Tai Pan Trading store again too.

I did find a cute little metal lantern with leaves and acorns. I'll have to get a picture taken of it so I can share.

Wow, what great deals, Kathleen! I especially like your nesting witch's hats. How cute! Love the hydrangea wreath. Pretty much anything made from hydrangeas gets my attention, as I love them. Gosh, I wish we had Christmas Stores here in New Mexico! You all get such great deals at them.

No shopping for me over the weekend, as I was prepping for another dinner party here (last night). I did find some cute Fall chargers at Walmart on Friday, but have to download the pics still.

I can't wait to see your Halloween table (or tables) you usually do more than one. It takes all I have to get one accomplished!!!

Kathleen & ladies, I got ambitious Sunday & made a new recipe and after we ate, I said, DRAT, I should have taken pictures of the food to post!!!

I had found a recipe for breaded pork chops & sweet sour cabbage done with apple cider & then we had baked acorn squash with butter & brown sugar in them. For dessert I made a homemade apple cake & it is so moist & yummy, no icing required.

I always get back in the mood to cook, once summer is over, summertime is always "quick & easy" so maybe next time I'll take pics of the food before we devour it!

I would have to travel waaaaaay up to northern Va to get to the closest one. Haven't been able to talk anyone into going with me - yet. Too chicken to travel that far by myself.

Cause y'all know I would go in a New York minute if I could get just one person to agree to go with me!! I NEED some of those white soup bowls. REALLY BAD.

I tried 2 new recipes in the last week. The first was a pecan crusted chicken breast over a salad with honey mustard dressing drizzled over. Didn't get pics because we were so late getting home that everyone was starving and were practically eating out of the pan! I will be making that again. DD was raving about how good it was to everyone who would listen.

The second was also an apple cake with a warm sauce poured over. Didn't get a pic because DS, DH's aunt, and I were all sick. Didn't get home from the Dr and drug store 'till late. I just fed the troops as fast as possible, took my drugs and hit the bed -leaving the dirty kitchen to whoever. Bless their hearts, it was clean when I wandered in this morning.

Kathleen, I'm again jealous of your great deals. But, I still love ya! My apple cake recipe was Lindac's with the cake 'gravy' from the CF. I took some over to my neighbor who has cancer while it was warm. I had promised her some Sat. and didn't get it made 'till yesterday. She called and said it was worth the wait. I used less than half of the cinnamon called for. It gives me a headache and DH heartburn. It was still good with that adjustment.

Anyone who hasn't gone to that forum is really missing a treat. Especially if you love to cook. Just imagine a whole bunch of 'Kathleens' with recipes!!! PURE HEAVEN!!
