White sink with Sedona Beige tub and toilet?

Would it be strange to have a white sink and light beige tub and toilet?

The long semi-recessed rectangular sink w/o faucet holes we like only comes in white. However, our tub and toilet are Toto's Sedona Beige (I think Kohler calls it "biscuit"). The bathroom measures 8' x 9'. Would this sink look out of place next to the other fixtures?

Is there anything else white in the bathroom (tiles, walls...)? If so, you could probably make it work. It would help if the counter was a material that involved the sedona beige color as well as white. Otherwise I'd look for a sink that was either undermounted so it doesn't show much or that is in Sedona beige.

From your pics, it looks like you are after a natural beach "beachy" look, not a "beachy" nautical or cape look. With that in mind, White is always a classic. Kohler's Sea Salt & Dune look like they would fit the bill nicely. Not so sure on Kohler's Honed White (online)--it didn't appear as soft a white as sea salt and dune. AS's linen looked a little too dark (online) IMO. Hope that helps!

is their colorchart online fairly true to what you saw in person? if so, it looks dark. both color names look the same to me also. their almond looks much lighter than most almonds I've seen (my fridge is almond). biscuit seems to have a yellow tint to it. i don't like white so I'd probably go with almond. I don't know if you'll tire of that color - I would. I like something really neutral - I think cream / beige is that.

After removing as much of the paste as possible, do a coat of Gardz as a primer before painting. It will not interact with any residual paste to protect your paint job. It's available at the Home Depot. Here is a link that might be useful: Gardz

I would think it would look a little odd, personally. Having slightly different colors of white (from different manufacturers) wouldn't seem odd, but having 2 different colors, like biscuit + white, pink + white, gray + white, would make me think that something must have happened to the original sink that matched the other items.

But I don't live there & you do, so don't let my one voice sway your choice!
