Wow, great decs! I really like your skull liquor decanter with the salt lamp behind it! We don't get any ToTers up here in the mountains either. This would be sad, except we're always at our friends' home on Halloween anyway ;^D ToT'ers would just get my two dogs barking , so maybe it's a good thing. BTW, I love your newly painted white jack-o-lanterns, too! Using the old mirror behind them is such a good idea!

luckygal..so glad you 'squeeked in' before Halloween was over. I like your white jack-o-lanterns and the one facing the mirror.
That's a nice vignette with the pretty plates
and lantern.
That skull decanter is really unique, especially with the light reflecting from behind.

We don't get any T or Trs either.. It's rural here too. Everyone goes to the local school where they have an annual 'Trick or Trunk'.
All the kids go to the school parking lot,dressed in costumes. Parents park their cars with their trunks open, filled with candy. Each car's trunk is Decorated with Lights and Halloween Decos..(they even have a contest for best decorated). All the kids parade around in their costumes, and trick or treat from the cars.
I'm only here a short time,(originally from NYC) and I've never seen this before. They say it's safer for the kids, and easier for the parents.

The barnwood mirror is so cool for decorating, and I really like how your JOL is reflected in it. Really nice display there! And that Skull bottle is wonderful, especially with the light behind it. All sorts of possibilites once the vodka disappears. LOL. You can pour colored liquid in there for one thing. I don't have any skulls but definitely wouldn't mind a glass one! That last photo is so pretty, I've saved it for our Halloween album. Crystal, silver, and skulls wouldn't ordinarily come to mind..but boy is it ever wonderful together.

I'd love to pick up a skull bottle like yours. Do you remember the name of the liquor store? Was it a big outfit like BevMo or a locally owned one?

Luckygal, I love your displays. The mirror with the white JOL (thank your for the abbreviation) is really nice. I LOVE the way you put the crystal skull together with the little balls and candle sticks, very nice.

We don't have T or Ts either, so I only decorate a little for our grandsons. I'll be packing away the JOLs tomorrow and filling a cornucopia.

Thanks so much to everyone for the nice comments. Sometimes I do a vignette and change it within hours or days so few see it so you may be my new "captive" audience! LOL I'm lazy about taking pics tho so probably won't post "too" much. I realized yesterday afternoon I hadn't shared all my deco's and they would soon be packed away so did this quick late thread.

That's a great idea for T or T's in rural areas, slinkey! I've never heard of that altho I know it's common to have parties for children in various rural community halls around here.

Karen, I'm honored to have you post any of my pics in the album. Might take awhile for that vodka to disappear as no one we know drinks it. Maybe I'll use it for a summer punch or something.

OA, the crystal skull vodka decanter was bot here in Canada at our local provincial liquor store altho I googled it and they are sold all over Canada and the US. I'll post a link and there's a "where to purchase" link to follow thru.

Halloween stuff will soon go in a bin til next year. Gotta start thinking about Christmas soon - I can hardly believe it!
