Do your light fixtures NOT match the finish on your faucets?
Comments (14)Hi Sorry, I don't have any pics. I'm in the middle of a bath remodel but I will have chrome bathroom faucets. My vanity light is matte black and I will have 2 wall sconces that are matte black with brushed nickel accents. I have a couple of bathroom accessories that are chrome and brushed nickel also. I'm hoping it will all blend. I know I must be breaking all kinds of design rules but I did my best picking this stuff out and trying to keep within my budget:)...See MoreHelp Me Finish Small Kitchen - Backsplash, etc.
Comments (20)Remodlelfla, I have now cut and pasted that backsplash twice! I think I need to have it. I looked all around the Interstyle site and I can't find that pic. Do you know anything more about that pattern....like is it available on mesh or is it a combo of loose tiles? Nice kitchen, winkwink! Here's mine... I think you have many options thanks to your relatively calm counter top choice. I used something busier (Icestone in Sage Pearl) and I am struggling with how busy I can go with the backsplash...I feel like I can't. Have you looked at Oceanside Glasstile? They have some really gorgeous blends in the 1x1 and 5/8x5/8 sizes. I think either would work for you. I would do a blend of white-ish and whatever color you like....blue or green or amber maybe to play nice with the floor tile. I used Beach Blonde in my last kitchen and it just made my heart sing. (Sorry....I really did love it!) I am kind of afraid to get too busy again....think I need all one color probably. Anyway, here's a pic of the OGT Beach Blonde: Part of my problem is that there are very few tile stores where I live now. How 'bout you? Comments (9)The master bedroom and bath will be burnished nickle since that would match my headboard, and I'm not buying a new headboard (though the only way I can get the fixtures I want for the ADA shower will be chrome -- some of the master bath will be chrome and some will be burnished nickle.) I seriously like the textured feel/look of burnished nickle. Everything else (fixtures) in the house will be oil-rubbed bronze or Venetian bronze. There may be a couple of black objects. I am using the Sherwin Williams "Global Spice" palate of colors to paint my rooms. I am gearing towards the warm part of the spectrum. They won't all be the same....See Morepowder room light fixture to match faucet finish?
Comments (5)If you're hesitant to add another metal, brushed brass is fairly neutral and will complement most other metals. Otherwise, a black and white sconce could look lovely to add the pop of black you're looking for while still contrasting against the dark blue. Best of luck!...See Moredavid_cary
