I just wondered if anyone knows why there has to be a punch list? Why doesn't the builder check the work his subs have done as the build progresses instead of the new home owners having to find problems and point them out, then have to wait for them to be fixed? I know some builders have a lot going at once, by why not have a supervisor to get these things right in the first place? It just doesn't make sense to us.
