My new TS finds

I thought I would share my latest finds. I found 24 of these beautiful clip on butterflies at the TS. Only $7.50! I'm going to use them on my Christmas tree. But I thought they would also be great napkin rings.

I also found this huge set of dishes for spring - maybe Mother's Day

WOW! The clips are beautiful, and yes, make great napkin rings too! 24! great!
The dishes are lovely too! What part of the country are you from. My TS charge more than if I bought them new!

Oh the dishes are lovely!

I'm a little amused that it looks like they chose foxglove to put on the one dish-- you don't see that often (I have a number of them in my garden and adore them)-- but poison plants are not usually printed on things-- no matter how lovely and decorative they are. Glad some manufacturer bucked the system.

Good finds at the TS, certainly!

Thanks for the comments.. I really like the doves there too. I originally thought they'd look good on a totem. But They look perfect there. I am fineally putting the junk back out in the yard. STill have a few more pieces that need finishing up.

Oh My GOSH...what a great haul. That blue 'n green bowl is fantastic! I love the frogs!! The fish and glass bird are wonderful totem toppers! The old sconces would look neat as teacup birdfeeders on a tree or fence. And that BIRDCAGE.....!WOW, WOW, WOW. Did I say WOW ! I have to add that your DH and DD going junking with you really has me green with envy. Even tho I have both, that won't happen in my lifetime. LOL and sighs. hugs, Karen

The thrift store I go to is so unbelievably nice..Everything is totally organized and good quality stuff. The last 3 days of the month everything is half price. I try to go for the items that are 50 cents to $2. So half off they're only 25 cents to a dollar..They have so much glass, and crystal. I didn't even dent their supply. The sales go to Hospice so I feel good about that. Some of the glass is so pretty. I looked at it all sitting on my couch last night and thought, 'hmm, I could just put all of this in a glass cabinet and it would look so pretty'..Some of the plates I bought were from Pottery Barn and still had the price tags on them-$10 ea..I paid $1!!! I never thought I could get so excited about G-L-A-S-S!!!! ;-)

You hit a jackpot shopping! Those Carolers especially! I really like the deer ornament, and also the bronze colors. The chickadee painting is delightful. I love those birds tho haven't even seen a REAL one. Next to Cardinals, they really say Winter to me. (probably why the real ones don't like Phoenix, LOL). That heart box looks like it would be made of marble? I know that was popular as a stone type thing for decorative boxes of all kinds. And so many colors with it too. Yours is sure pretty! Oh, meant to tell you, I saw some little Kissing Angels on Etsy that I think are like yours. Actually I just looked for link to show you, and when I searched kissing angels there are a LOT on there. I LOVE the dishes...poisonous or not :^)
'Course my cooking might be the next problem, but the table would look lovely!!!
The butterflies are beautiful too....can't wait to see pictures of your tree!

Love the butterflys and the pink flowered dishes, they will make a lovely tablesetting!

My friend had those butterfly clips, and clipped them to her DD's sheer curtains, which had large flowers embroidered on them. It was very sweet!

I have never seen foxgloves on a plate - I grow them too - those are real beauties - great find!

Hey Gang, hear that, I LOVE her dishes with the PINK flowers on them! I don't care if foxgloves are poisonous or not, they are beautiful.

Since I have a a brown thumb, the foxgloves were lost on me until all the great gardeners pointed them out:)) However, I love the dishes as well as the butterflies.

I have a great hand embroidered (butterflies and small flowers) table cloth and napkins that they would match perfectly. I would definitely use them on the tree, napkin rings, go where ever your imagination can take you! Enjoy!
