Retro subway in 70's split level.

I'm trying to pick tile for 3 small bathrooms in my 70's split level home. Iv completely redone the exterior with board and batten siding and now its time for the interior which is still original 70's look.

My wife and I like the look of gloss white subway tiles on the shower and bath walls with a porcelain basket weave / dog bone on the floor. We want a timeless look. The dog bone is available with a cobalt blue which we are leaning towards, or black dot. But I'm wondering if that retro look wouldn't work with the rest of the house. Any thoughts?

Second.. Should I stay with the same tile in all three baths when I finally make a decision?
