Craftylady, thanks to you posting for us newbies I may just be able to get you bigger pics. Here goes. Oh, and for garden2garden the witch is made with 2 pieces of wood 3/4 by 2" one about 2 foot long and the other about 5 foot long the arms are chicken wire rolled into a tube and wrapped around the 2' piece nailed to the long piece at about shoulder height, leaving about 5" for the head. Then I nailed chicken wire in the shape of a hoop skirt at waist height. I put the head on and tied to the top of the long piece of wood. Then I attached a pair of stuffed white gloves to the end of the tube shape and then dressed her. I pinned the sleeves together to get the stick to stand up in the cauldron.

Betty, thank you for all the compliments, our house is nothing compared to the new, big, beautiful ones I see one here, but we've tried to update & modernize our 60's ranch home. The arrangement on the coffee table is a small animal print chest & I think I stole that idea from Tam from last winter, she did a small chest with a Christmas scene in it! The pumpkin arragement on the end table was also a yard sale find a few years ago, I thought it was so pretty too, can't imagine why the lady sold it, I've used it every year since I bought it. The fur-baby in the shot would be our old gal Freckles, our cocker spaniel, that is her favorite place to recline or under the table, she likes the floor by the front door, as she seems to be hot all the time, must be her "change"! LOL I wish you all lived near me, the sales here are unbelievable. Friends will tell me they are looking for something & within a week or two I will find it for them at a yard sale & usually brand new or like new for about one tenth of the retail price. In the spring, from about April thru June, entire subdivisions will hold their annual sales. You can go to a sub and just park & walk from house to house, some with over 50 homes participating in the event. Most who have them in their garages, have them so arranged that you think you're in a department store, it's really so neat! I LOVE candles & have not had to buy any in stores for years. You cannot believe how many people sell brand new candles at their sales and the prices I pay are usually between .50 and $1.00 each, even for the big Yankee type candles. Last year I bought two boxes of fall candles, all brand new, the 21 oz. jar candles, 6 in a box for $5.00. One was pumpkin spice & the other mulled cider. I am burning a pumpkin spice one right now. I asked why they were selling them & the man said his wife bought them on a trip one time & they were moving & didn't feel like packing all those candles. Lucky me!!! Oh, I will try to remember to take some pics of the animal print items in my livingroom. I did try one time, but the glare from the glass on the frames makes it hard to get good photos. I'll try to get my son to take them with his "expensive" camera that does alot more than my little Kodak Easy Share! LOL LUVS, no I didn't make that fall garland, you should know better, YES again, YARD SALE FIND! LOL LOL I actually saw another one this year & passed on it, figured one was enough. You all need to tell me what you want & I can pick things up for you & mail them!!! If I had known I would have bought it & sent it to you! Again, thanks all, I can't imagine what all this decor would have cost me at retail price!! I LOVE yard sales!!

Cheri, I just love your enthusiasm. Love how you decorate the whole house! I have a few Fall/Halloween decorations--you have a whole housefull! ;o) Saw so many things in the pics that I loved--too many to mention them all individually, but have to say that the way you decorate your ledge for the holidays is just awesome! Liked the decorated tree, the stacked pumpkin man, and would love to find patterns for some of your wooden pieces. Everything looks so festive and just fantastic as always. Luvs

I think both jck910 and Sammie J have excellent points. For some reason the gable above your garage and your other front facing gable look unfinished to me. Consider a modification of the roof line like the one below on the front facing gable where you have the finished roof line and the window. A window that would coordinate with your other windows. Just posting the insp pic below for concept of the window and roofline modifications. I'm not a designer or architect, just going by what I would do. Hopefully you get other input.
